Great outdoor living and view

Our second visit to this property on family vacation. It is marvelous. Spacious property with great ourdoor living with pool, lots of seating and amazing view. Well kept and very comfortable. Love staying here! Perfect location for hopping around San Diego.

Amazing property, lots of fun!

We had an amazing stay at the Avocado House. The pictures represent it really well. The hosts have thought of everything. I figured I'd have to get a few things once we got there but really, I didn't need to. They were incredibly responsive to any questions I had also. The backyard and view is amazing. I'd love to come back and would recommend this home to anyone looking to relax and enjoy their stay in San Diego.

Incredible Home, Even More Incredible Views

This home is one of the best weve stayed at. The rooms are spacious, kitchen well stocked, location perfect, and the pool - so beautiful and relaxing. The outdoor space is absolutely stunning. We loved looking at all the beautiful plants. We truly hope to stay here again!

In town for SDSU family weekend and we prefer getting a house for the weekend. This was a lovely property with an amazing view and great privacy. Rooms for each of the kids with TVs was a plus. Hosts were extremely responsive and on top of things!!

Weekend at San Diego

The property was spectacular. Its location was centrally located which allowed us easy access to any of the multiple Things to Do spots in the San Diego area. The house itself was better than advertised. It provided views second to none and enough seclusion to allow us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the west coast.

Mini Oasis

This property was awesome. We had 2 families totaling of 8 people. There was plenty of room for everyone. We had 2 teenagers and 2 young kids under the age of 9. We went to the zoo and the safari park. Each time we came back we would take a dip in the pool and enjoy the city views. The hosts Jim and Dayna were super responsive. I would definitely book again.

Southern California Christmas

Our family coming from 4 states (Minnesota, Washington, California and Illinois) had a wonderful time at this property. It was very spacious with comfortable beds. We enjoyed the view (sunrise and sunset). Wish we could have stayed longer. I would recommend this property.

Family Vacation

The house and the views were beautiful!. Beyond our expectations. Plenty of space for our family. They had a pack and play and a high chair which were perfect for our grandson. We cooked meals and all cookware, dishes, etc. were provided. The pool and garden were well maintained and gorgeous. If we travel to San Diego in the future, we would rent this place again.

This was the best stocked house in ten years. Their kitchen was amazing. Great views of San Diego . We where very pleased. The weather could have been warmer. But that is not there fault

Secluded Home Close to Everything

My family of 4 enjoyed the space & comforts of this home. The house is well appointed; secluded from the rest of the area; local restaurants are plenty & surprisingly moderately priced; and most tourist spots we went to/from were within 25 minutes and easy commutes. The weather was a bit chillier than we had hoped for, so unfortunately the pool never got quite warm enough to use, but the outdoor seating areas and garden were lovely.

SDSU Freshmen move-in

Was moving our daughter into her freshmen year at SDSU. House was better than the details in the VRBO listing. Lots of space, pool and view were postcard worthy. Property owner kept in communication with us while Tropical Storm Hilary was approaching to keep us informed of local alerts and info. Plan to stay here again for an upcoming SDSU visit with our daughter.

Wonderful Time Celebrating A Graduation From SDSU

Our family of six totally enjoyed our stay at the Avocado House. The layout of the house, extra bathrooms and gorgeous view (day and night) were all very pleasant and accommodating. The weather was perfect for using the pool and I loved walking around the property. We created new memories and celebrated lots of events. We chose the Avocado House because it is conveniently close to campus. The property is also about 20 minutes from downtown and most other locations. Thank you to the host for their responsiveness while booking and answering our questions. We all enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Avocado House as a great place to spend time together. Fabulous!

What a perfect house! It had beautiful grounds and a seemingly separate location with really no neighbors you could see. There was some road noise but not bad in the morning and evening when we’d sit out by the pool. The location is fabulous, again sort of secluded but blocks from Vons etc. and the house is well maintained, well stocked and had great amenities. The owners were quick to respond to emails. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended to family/friends in the area if they need a place for visitors to stay. Again couldn’t have been more perfect and we appreciated how well appointed the house was. Thanks for such a great place
