Einsiedeln Abbey

The Saint Georges Hotel has a good and quiet location, being quite central, you can reach the downtown area by foot easily and quickly. Train and tram connections nearby are great. The front desk ladies are very lovely, friendly, helpful, smiling and welcoming. They went the extra mile to give me clear directions how to reach the hotel from the airport and main train station. I chose a single room with shared bathroom which is perfectly fine and acceptable if you don't mind having to exit the room and walk the hallway, especially at night, if needed- otherwise there was no shortage of bathrooms and they were clean. The room itself was like expected-rather small and with basic amenities, but bright, clean and cozy, it had a sink and mirror, which I welcomed, and some nice touches like a bottle of filtered water and cookies, replenished daily. The buffet-style breakfast, although no hot options available, was good and had variety, you can notice the love and care for the guests. I appreciated the offer for the second cup of coffee and the friendliness of the attending staff member. All in all, a good value for the money and I would always go back and recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for having me!
