We really liked the American motel style access to the room with access from an outside gallery. Even though location is a bit away from the centre of Eindhoven, it was a pleasant 45 minute walk after a long car journey. However there is a frequent and fast bus service just around the corner. The hotel offers good dining and breakfast services. Staff were very welcoming.

Absolutely horrible smell of stale sweat. They have to clean out the air in all the rooms. The sheets smell horribly as well. I had to ask for a room change yet no improvement. I even went to see a friend in a different room same horrible stink. I can’t believe I paid this much for a place like this. No options of interesting stuff to watch on TV, bathroom did not drain well. The entire bathroom got flooded while I had my bath. The body soap dispenser was empty, I had a really horrible stay in this place. Hotel campanile should invest in air freshners as well. I will certainly not recommend this place to my enemy. You guys have to do better for what you charge!! I am very unhappy about my experience. Thankyou.

Bar was amazing. Area a little bit remote but there is a Macdonalds and a supermarket nearby. Also it was only an hour walk from the airport. There are hire bikes nearby too. Room was a little bit small but the shower room was nice, there was a desk and good eletric shutters. There was a walkway round the building. The car park is the only way in or out and this has gates at night so it is secure. Id stay here again, the rate is reasonable. I walked to an area with bars about 15 mins away. The centre of Eindhoven is much further. Dott hire bikes are great, you just have to work out where you can park them. Eindhoven has dedicated cycle lanes, no one even wears a helmet

It was ok in general. Just some hair in the sink and on the floor next to shower ( not mine , Iam bold ). Also other guests were very loud over the night , but that is not fault of the hotel employees, just customers with no behaviour:( Iam wiling to stay next time around , as it's close to the airport and price for the stay is also affordable

One of the worst hotels i have been in a long time. The matress is super soft. The room doors lead outside where people can smoke. That smoke pulls into the rooms and you can just smell everything. The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbour flush. Tear it the building down and build something worth calling a hotel!

Check-in issue

Checkin was a bit of a thing as Hotels.com had not presented the reservation to the hotel as they normally do. The lady at the reception was extremely helpful and fixed it after some time.

Campanile Stay

I booked 2 rooms for a work trip my room was clean but smelled like an ashtray, being a non smoker hard to put up with smell. Informed reception came over and done 2 puffs of an air freshener. not a nice smell, the other room had no soap asked for it to be done no action, in the end asked for the soap so had to install in the dispenser ourselfs. Staff are pleasant and nice to deal with.

The hotel is on the edge of a business park but do not be put off by that as it is relatively close to bars and restaurants in adjacent Veldhoven. It has a large secure car park which has controlled access over night, worth knowing if travelling by motorcycle. The staff were really friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze. The rooms are accessed via lift or stairs to external balconies which means there are no internal corridors. We had a king size room with the usual huge Dutch bed which was really comfy. The shower room was bright and clean with one of the most powerful showers I've ever used; brace yourself. The only minor criticism is that the ambient lighting in the room was great but there wasn't any option for brighter ceiling room lights which may be a problem for some. Also the wardrobe was just a few hangers on a rail and 4 pigeon holes; some drawers and coat hooks would have been handy but we were only there for 3 nights and we managed. The hotel/reception/bar/restaurant are is very pleasant, clean and comfy with a mix of sofas, chairs and stools. We ate in there for 2 evenings (it would have been 3 but they don't do food on Sundays apart from breakfast; worth noting)The food was excellent with a varied choice on the menu plus daily specials. We made the mistake of not booking our breakfast when we booked the rooms as we weren't too sure if it would be worth it. Do it, it's cheaper if you do and you won't regret it.Great choice of cold meats and cheeses etc.

The staff is good. When we checked in, we noticed a torn sheet, and the staff changed our room without any questions. Overall, for the price, the hotel is normal, and you can stay there for a short trip.
