"Our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate upon arrival, check-in was simple, and the kitchen had salt, pepper, oil, and two bottles of wine. Instructions are provided to guide you through usage of the hot pool and radiant floor heating. We were in house 2, which had a fire pit as well. For those who want to grill, we noticed a propane grill in the utility room on our last day. This was an exceptional stay with a great view and very responsive host. If we can come back, we will."

"The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a concern about the location of our room and they worked hard to accommodate our needs. It was much appreciated! We had a Superior Double Room. It was under the lobby and restaurant so was a bit noisy during breakfast service in the morning and dinner in the evening. This did not hamper our stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable and well designed. Unfortunately, the towel radiators didn't work and the showers were extremely hot (with no option to cool it down). A few lights were also not working. Again, despite these things, we enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good and we could see Godafoss from the window!"
