The upstairs home also operates as a vacation rental and may be occupied during your stay. The suite has sound insulation to help reduce noise transfer, but everyday sounds such as footsteps and voices may still be heard.

The suite has its own separate entrance. The upstairs home is a separate accommodation and is not included in your reservation.



The backyard is not included and is not accessible to suite guests.

We’re available through the booking platform if you have questions or need help during your stay. Please message us if anything needs attention so we can work to resolve it.



We manage the suite remotely and won’t be available in person.

Arriving by car:

Use the property address provided with your reservation. Street parking is available near the side entrance, subject to availability and posted restrictions. Please keep the driveway clear.



Arriving by taxi or rideshare:

Use the property address as your destination and follow your arrival instructions to the suite’s separate entrance.



Suite entry:

Your detailed arrival instructions and unique smart-lock code will be sent 24 hours before check-in. Your code will remain valid throughout your stay.



✦ OTHER THINGS TO NOTE ✦



✔ SECURITY DEPOSIT AND RENTAL AGREEMENT



This property requires a $250 security deposit hold (not an upfront charge) and a digital signature of our rental agreement. The hold will be scheduled at the time of your reservation and placed two days before check-in. It will be released two days after check-out, provided that no damage has been done to the property and all house rules have been followed.



✔ BASEMENT SUITE SETTING



This suite is part of a property with a separate vacation rental upstairs. Please be considerate of other guests and keep in mind that some sound may travel between floors.



✔ SECURITY DEVICES



There are no cameras inside the suite.



One outdoor security camera at the main entrance monitors the entrance area. It records motion-activated events rather than recording continuously.



A noise-level monitor measures overall noise levels without recording sounds or conversations.
