Perfect place

The property was as everything described on the website. Two full bathrooms and a half bath on the ground floor gave all of us space. Steve the host made everything run smoothly, answered our initial questions promptly and checked in with us to make sure all was going well with our stay. He gave us information on how to get around the area. We had a car rental so it was an easy five minute drive to Gyle shopping centre where you can ride the tram straight into Edinburgh. So easy and no hassle to look for parking in Edinburgh. We were so glad to return to the peacefulness of the house after a busy day of sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Scotland. With easy access to the motorway it was a great place for a base to explore the rest of the country

Beautiful house in peaceful suburb

Steve is a friendly and responsive host. His home is spacious and well equipped. The back yard is a beautiful and peaceful asset to any stay. There is a lovely park just across the front door and there is a canal just a short walk away. They even had some universal outlet adapters that helped my family's electronic devices stay charged. Things to consider: You'll need a car or Uber to get anywhere. 30 minutes to downtown Edinburgh and Uber was about 30L-40L each way depending on time of day.If you are in a heat wave in summer, it can be very hot; especially in the upstairs bedrooms. Be careful to keep shades down while out. As advertised, no AC or fans. Didn't cool down until well past midnight.Beds are not very comfortable. We used all 3 bedrooms and all my family members felt this way. In the master bedroom, you could feel springs through the mattress. A plush mattress topper would be helpful.

It was a beautiful, spacious, and clean home for 5 of us, which included 2 children that loved the Marvel decorations! It was very kid-friendly with lots of books, board games, and backyard! It was a short drive to Edinburgh too! The treats left for us were yummy too!

Tolles Haus um Urlaub zu machen, sehr familienfreundlich

Das Haus ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mit zwei Badezimmer ist es purer Luxus. Alles verlief super unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Siedlung, mit schönen Möglichkeiten spazieren zu gehen am Kanal. Da die Bushaltestelle nur ein paar Minuten entfernt ist kann man schnell alles erreichen wohin man möchte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
