"We had a very nice, relaxing stay at this cottage by the Lake! It was very clean inside and the accommodations inside and out were great. The main bedroom bed is very comfortable and the deck outside with the fire pit is very nice and relaxing, minimal to no bugs, and the weather was perfect!!! Our only recommendation might be, due to its remote location, having some updated pots/pans in the kitchen for cooking there. And finally, just clearing the walkway down to the lake would be great, so it’s not such a covered path, and easier to navigate the steep hill. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay! Thankyou!!"

"Five stars absolutely. Fantastic host, great location and great cabin. Dog friendly! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really didn't want to leave. As others have stated, it is not a two bedroom cabin. There is one large bedroom upstairs with 3 beds and the stairwell sort of halfway divides it along with sort of a half wall. But I knew this before I booked from reading the reviews. Anything we needed, Vinnie was right on it. Power even went out one night throughout the entire region and we returned to our cabin that evening to find candles and matches at our door. Very thoughtful. The campground also put on an amazing fireworks show for July 4. Close to lots of great fishing spots, 30 minutes from Cookeville. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Host was amazing. This place is a gem. Super clean inside. Great front porch and rear porch outside area. Bedrooms are really small. Couldn’t sleep with my wife bc I get up in the middle of the night and couldn’t get around the bed. Shower was great so weren’t the washer and dryer. It’s on a dead end which was great. There was a few tornadoes the time we stayed. The access road stinks it’s small and tight. We had to back up the road twice bc huge vehicles with boats were coming up the road. We really had no complaints about this place except the hot tub was dirty and made us not wanna go in it after the first time. Hot tub brings more money and should be emptied and cleaned after every guest they make enough money on the rental. Everything else is nitpicking and not worth a comment. We would stay here again but would have to adjust the sleeping arrangements."
