Treehouse charm with 180 degree water view. Southwest exposure provides year 'round sunsets from our expansive deck while enjoying a nice dinner by the glowing light of the fire table. Roast marshmallows from your Adirondacks over the backyard firepit as you listen to the sound of the Albemarle lapping at the bulkhead. Kayaks, bicycles, fishing rods, table tennis and corn hole for two! Even a set of golf clubs should you care to do a round at the nearby Links at Mulberry Hill. Perfect for a weekend away

Such a cute, cozy place. Was lucky to catch a beautiful sunset one night, and the dock was perfect to sit and relax and stare off into the water. Loved our stay and would stay again!!

Great getaway!

Perfect for a couple's getaway! Extremely well equipped and supplied. Stunning views. Also, Edenton is a great place to visit for a few days and several really good restaurants.

Beautiful home with a great location and the view was amazing. Enjoyed the peace and quiet which my wife and I were looking for. Was only there for the weekend but would definitely stay there again, hopefully for an extended period of time.

I planned a little surprise weekend getaway for my wife and I to celebrate our Anniversary. THe place was absolutley Beautiful and could not have asked for anything better. Weekend Getaway

The bungalow was exactly as described. Got to see the beautiful sunset on our second night. Close to Edenton and convenient to sights and good restaurants. Very quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax and unwind.

Perfect Get Away

This property was so quaint and relaxing. Every aspect of our stay was wonderful. The home was comfortable, clean and had a fantastic view of the Albemarle Sound. A short drive to downtown led us to fantastic restaurants and some fun historical sites. The owners were informative about the area and very easy to communicate with. All in all - a relaxing retreat spot that I hope to return to someday soon.

Perfect spot!

We loved our stay here. The furnishings were deluxe. Loved the leather couch to lounge on and take in the view. The kitchen and bath were well-stocked with just about everything you could think of. Communication with the owners was outstanding. They are very responsive. We definitely recommend East of Edenton for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

This place was exactly what we wanted for our romantic getaway. The huge glass doors with screens were what dreams are made of. Although it rained our full day there, being able to still enjoy the view from the couch made it feel like you were still outside. We are planning to come back when its warmer!

The house is very cute and well appointed. The whole front of windows showcased a gorgeous view of Albemarle Sound. Short rainy weekend but we would come back again to enjoy the dock and the deck.

Albemarle Sound and Edenton, what a pleasant surprise!

My wife and had heard bout Edenton from friends that were impressed with the area. After visiting we are also! We experienced a wonderful 5 course meal hosted by the Inner Banks Inn on the Albemarle Queen paddle boat for our Thanksgiving dinner. My wife and I both loved the shopping and amenities. Edenton Coffee House was excellent! Our stay at the East of Edenton was also just what we needed. Quiet, relaxing and Beautiful! Very cozy couch to enjoy the Albemarle Sound views, and evenings. If your a music lover there were lots of good music to choose from (Including some vinyl!) We would love to revisit in the warm months to experience even more that this area has to offer.

Rejuvenating Retreat!

My husband and I wanted a nice getaway for the long Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend, and have been wanting to check this place out. Eric and Julianne are the perfect hosts. All communication with them was quick and very helpful with understanding the area in the off-season. The home is very warm and welcoming with amazing sunsets. We loved the large windows letting in lots of natural light and allowing for full views of the water. It's a nice quiet neighborhood but a short distance to the historic downtown Edenton area to take in the local sights and food experiences. Love their collection of old school vinyl, CDs and DVDs. And we enjoyed the cribbage board, too. We liked the solitude of the area where we could simply decompress and reconnect with each other. We would love to return in the warmer months so we can enjoy the deck and water activities. Book your next stay here. You will not be disappointed! Thanks a million Eric and Julianne!

Book this Home!

You can't beat the view of the Albemarle sound from the living room and brand new dock below. Watched eagles catch their dinner right off the dock and my husband caught quite a few catfish himself. Bed and couch were comfortable. Got lucky with sunset one evening and words cannot describe the beauty. Edenton is quite charming. Downtown Roots made a mean Cuban sandwich and 309 Bistro & Spirits was wonderful! We day tripped to Elizabeth City (Museum of the Albemarle) and Fort Raleigh and Manteo (Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge). Hope to finish the history article Eric wrote about Cape Colony and Edenton on our next visit. Don't hesitate to book if you enjoy long walks in a quiet neighborhood and relaxing with a view. Relaxing with great sunsets and water access.

Lovely, well maintained Condo sitting on water access lot on Arbemarle Sound. Nice new dock to access the water or sit and relax watching the sunset. Lot and deck has great shade areas making it pleasant even during hot weather. Well decorated with all the necessities well covered. Comfortable living space with washer & dryer in a laundry room under the unit. Nice large deck and nice yard right to the waters edge. In a small condo / home setting with some full time owners and some owner rental units. All properties well maintained and owners are very friendly. Close to Edenton township. Small town atmosphere, shops and restaurants with a few chain type restaurants close by. Food Lion grocery meets most needs. Very friendly town folks. About an hour from the Outer Banks area.
