Very pleasant stay
This is a modernized wing of the house. It had a fascinating old stove/oven and some beam construction upstairs. We were visiting friends in the area and needed a place to stay. The is a quiet, wonderful place on a farm. The host Grant was attentive and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. I appreciated the upstairs hand-held shower head. We loved the full sized refrigerator that made our haul from Shady Maple Market easy to store. The first floor is accessible to those with problems with stairs with a 3/4 bath available to use.

Our family Easter get together.
Very easy to work with. Well supplied with a variety of cookware. Towels were large and absorbent. Had a play house the kids were free to use.

A Picturesque Stay
Our hosts were very prompt in replying to all our communications. They were very generous in sharing their outside space which was lovely (patio area and swimming pond on beautiful farmland property). It was a very peaceful setting!

Antiques and Amish Country Getaway
This was a lovely place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. We slept well each night, and loved having the kitchen area available. This was within easy driving distance of all the things we wanted to do in the area, too. We had a wonderful time!

A place to rest and recuperate
The best thing about this place was to be in an impeccable farm close to all the things we wanted to do; we will do it again. You want a peaceful vacation? this is the place to be. Huge place to walk around in the morning, or anytime you want.

Anniversary Trip
My husband and I returned for our 2nd stay on this property. Grounds are beautiful. They were holding a wedding that weekend. So going outside to sit wasn’t really available during those hours. The stay was very nice and close to many attractions. Beautiful views and home.

Picturesque Farm Stay
This property is beautiful and was perfect for our short weekend stay for my kids’ practices. Grant was a wonderful host who greeted me on our first day and made sure we had everything. Communication was great! There is a wedding venue on-site but you have your own parking spot and Grant was sure to let me know there would be weddings during our stay. There are very steep stairs up to the bedroom/bathroom. This was not a problem for us but just be aware if you have very young children or adults with difficulties climbing stairs.

Family had a great time. We spent a lot of time outside around the property. It is beautiful . Our kids had fun playing in the small play house nearby and the tree swing.

This property was just as described in the ad. Lovely home and surroundings. perfect getaway, well equipped, clean and peaceful. I will definitely be renting it again when in PA. Dennis and Karen were admirable, humble and attentive to our needs.

Loved staying here. Not your usual rental. Seemed to be staying in what used to be a summer kitchen that is attached to the house. All updated. Grounds are immaculate, scenery spectacular, and owners are very nice and friendly.

Perfect getaway
From the moment we drove up the driveway we were delighted. We pulled in at 7:15 at night the outdoor light of the property was gorgeous. We couldn’t wait for morning to see it all. The ole summerhouse was perfectly decorated and as clean as could be. Every corner was decorated with such beautiful country decor. The next morning we got to see the beautiful grounds. My wife and daughter loved the swing I enjoyed my morning coff every morning on a beautiful hard scape patio. Each time we drove in the driveway we couldn’t believe this gem we found. Needless to say we can’t wait to visit again. The owners live on site and are some of the kindest people we have every met We highly recommend this property if looking in the Lancaster are. Pretty relaxed VRBO
We enjoyed our stay and were close to local attractions like Shady Maple and Kitchen Kettle. The property was clean and well supplied. The only downside was the stairs leading up to the bedroom were steep so we had to have our toddler in bed with us every night to make sure she was safe. If you’re staying here with little ones, I’d just plan accordingly with baby gates etc. but they will love the playhouse and property.

A part of a pretty picture
Wonderful place to take in the country from the comfort simple luxury. I felt recharged after my stay. Every corner of the property is landscaped with an eye for detail. Sweet people too!

Very nice area, clean well kept place, nice scenery. My wife and I spent a couple days here to relax and enjoy our anniversary. Nice house, comfortable bed, quiet area in middle of a farm but near nice restaurants, stores, about 30 minutes from Lancaster. We enjoyed our stay, returned rested and relaxed.
