welcome to Sunset Shores Unit 15 E the Sloop. Sit on the deck with your coffee watching the lobster men haul their traps, enjoy your happy hour down on our dock, or fish off the pier. You may hunt for sea gas on our coastal beach at low tide. You are only 5.5 miles from all the shops, restaurants, and tour boats. Ocean point is a great place to walk its only 1.5 miles away. There are many hiking trails near by and don't forget the Botanical gardens. enjoy all that this region has to offer and then come home to the Sloop for a quiet and peaceful sleep.

Scenic view, close proximity to the botanical gardens and land trust preserves, and lots of great seafood make this a wonderful spot. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The WiFi was reliable. The kitchen has a full sized oven/stove, a microwave, a 5 cup coffee maker, a toaster and a dorm-sized refrigerator. Very quiet.Highly recommend.

Beautiful, convenient location in close proximity to downtown Boothbay, the amazing food Wisscasset, and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. The sunsets were the absolute best!

On a whim

I was working in upstate New York and have never been to Maine. On a whim I decided to go for a few days not very optimistic about reasonable rates in availability during prime summer season. I got very lucky and found this wonderful gem of a place to stay. The owner was super hospitable very communicative and the place is absolutely perfect to get away and still be close to all of the summer things you might want to do. I highly recommend this property!!

Great place for your getaway!

We can highly recommend this place for a couple for short or long vacation. The room is nicely decorated, towel and bedding were very good, the mattrass was too soft for us, but it was pretty comfortable, the kitchen has everything you will need for your stay. And the location is perfect. And check the nearest restaurant the Carriage House !Nataliya

Perfect place to relax

Our room was great! Really clean and had everything that we needed. The closet organizer held all of our clothes for our weeks stay so we could "move in" and put our suitcases back in the car. It felt like home for the week. It was great to have the kitchenette for when we didn't want to out to eat. The location was perfect for us. Very quiet but super close to Boothbay Harbor, the grocery store and down to the point. The grounds were beautifully maintained and we enjoyed sitting by the water reading or just enjoying the view. The owners answered all of our questions right away and were easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning again to this special place.

3rd Long Stay at Sloop

This was my third Maine two week stay-cation while hubby hiked with buddies out-of-state. Sloop is perfect for one for this length of time. I love the simple nautical theme in color and decor. View of Linekin Bay while relaxing or dining indoors or out can’t be beat, private dressing room with storage, super adequate galley kitchen, friendly small guest/owner community with lovely waterfront amenities. Host Leah and Scott are wonderful and know how to do things right! Can’t say enough…oh yes, location is convenient to everything….harbour shops, galleries, restaurants, gardens, golf, LOBSTER, boat excursions…yadda, yadda…..my HAPPY PLACE!

Fantastic Stay

We had the best time! The small condo/room was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We met both owners when we got there and visited with Scott several times the following few days. Scott gave us info on places to see and things to do. The view from the room was outstanding. We could either look at the water from the outside seating area, or walk down to the dock and get a close up of the boats. If it wasn't so far away, we would be back next month!!!! Thank you so much for creating a home away from home!
