This is an unsafe place to stay. Were advised to park our car within range of cctv. The door of our room had recently been broken into as the lock was badly replaced. Dirty linen on the bed . This is being polite . Very unreliable person managing the property. Avoid at all costs

Nicht sehr sauber. Das Frühstück bestand aus Instantkaffee und allem was der tesco an abgepackten Dingen anbietet. Kein direkter Ansprechpartner, Kartenzaglung nicht möglich. Warten bi heute auf unsere Wechselgeld. Insgesamt nicht zu empfehlen.

The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol

The room was spacious. Unfortunately, I booked an ensuite but the toilet is located outside our room. I tried to call and message the owner of the property but no response!

Where is my refund?
Hotels.com accepted the booking, I paid in full, the guest house contacted me to say they didn’t have a room, and I am still for a refund.

Unsatisfying
There was no one to great us ,the beds were like rocks,the breakfast hahahahahaha no clean plates,no hot water for tea or coffee.the room was either to hot or too cold,the shower was like a jet then a dribble then a jet,all in all it was not a good experience

El mismo día que viaje me mandaron por mensaje que SOLO aceptan efectivo. Pésimo que no te avisen con antelación. No me dieron la factura, no hubo nadie en recepción ninguno de los cinco días que estuvimos, ni siquiera para el check out. Tampoco nos dieron recambio de toallas ni sábanas, ni menos pasar a limpiar un poco la habitación. Había toallas higiénicas USADAS en el mueble del lavamanos. No hay amenities, jabón, shampoo, nada. Teniendo un bebé necesitábamos bolsa de basura y fue imposible dar con una persona que nos atendiera (supuestamente hay recepción 24 hs) El desayuno no es continental. Está bien comunicado y es fácil de llegar a Edimburgo Tiene parking en el lugar La habitación es espaciosa y tiene tv

A convient stay at a resasonable price.
A hastle free stay ideal for someone in and out. Not the cleanest bedding. On the whole it served its purpose realatively cheap and easy. Just needs some more attention to the bedding.

Very basic - breakfast was lovely. Toliet seat wasn't attached, the bed came apart as well and there was lots of little flies there too. The floor was sticking too and not clean.

Gives Hotel.com a bad name.
Overall TERRIBLE. Room cancelled in morning and offered alternative 'cottage' that was worse condition. Poor service - Owners only contactable by text or leaving message. No-one on reception, only same mobile number to contact. Not clean - So called sofa bed dirty, stained and lumpy. Totally uncomfortable, no toilet paper not enough towels. Did not stay booked stay as left after one night, Unsuitable condition, should not be on Hotels.com.

We had a spacious room. The included breakfast was more than expected. Some plates and cups were dirty. 3 different wifis - none worked. Was a little troubled that the front door is never locked as it's '24 hour reception' but managers weren't around much. A great budget price - you get what you pay for.

We picked up keys left on desk with not saying don't use toilet as its broken - it has someone elses pee in it and flush was taken away. No toilet paper on site!!! fun and games as other stayers were looking everywhere for paper. No staff on site at all, and front door lock was taped open all night. No light bulbs in lamps but they were all plugged in and switched on!! Noisey dogs barking at 06.00 and food (packets of alpen bars etc bought from shop) didnt cater for any one with dairy issues.

Little gem in Rosyth
Fabulous array of breakfast, friendly welcome staff. Brilliant location. Convenience for local amenities. Bargain budget stay for an Edinburgh visit. Highly recommended

A very budget type stay … clean and friendly when they were there. It doesn’t seem that any staff/management stayed on site during the night. A call to the desk went to an answering machine … and no follow-up on there part …strange and unsettling.

Abominable
Séjour d'une nuit, nos trois premières nuits en arrivant à Edimbourg ont été annulées la veille de notre arrivée sans motif, nous avons du être relogés d'urgence par Hotel.com Sur place, pour la dernière nuit de notre séjour, chambre OK par contre nuit blanche à cause des acariens dans la literie. Etant allergique, je n'ai pas dormi de la nuit même avec anti-histaminiques. Paiement uniquement en espèces, pourquoi ? Nous avons été obligés d'aller retirer de l'argent pour avoir la clé de notre chambre.

They only take cash. This was not advertised on Hotels.com. They did not have change when I checked in. No staff on hand when I checked out to give me a receIpt.
