This elegant 19th-century Norman residence, a former manor house built from local stone, is home to a fully renovated 4-star holiday cottage designed to accommodate up to 4 guests in comfort.
Located right in the centre of Ducey-Les Chéris, the cottage combines the charm of a character property with the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants. A public electric vehicle charging station is also available in the car park approximately 15–20 metres from the property. It is a peaceful and welcoming retreat, ideal for a few relaxing days as well as for exploring Mont-Saint-Michel Bay, Normandy and neighbouring Brittany.
The ground floor features a spacious, bright and comfortable living room, a dining area and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Large windows offer pleasant views over the landscaped, flower-filled garden. A small private terrace also allows you to make the most of fine weather in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Upstairs, two welcoming double bedrooms are fitted with high-quality bedding to ensure comfort and restful nights. The entire cottage has been arranged with warmth, elegance and attention to detail, in keeping with the atmosphere of this family home.
Staying at La Rose de Ducey also means enjoying the garden and its seasonal blooms: roses, camellias, rhododendrons, fuchsias and other plants create a colourful, peaceful and ever-changing setting throughout the year. The garden is very much part of the charm of the property and contributes to the feeling of a true break from everyday life.
Ducey is an excellent base from which to discover the region: Mont-Saint-Michel and its bay of course, but also Avranches, Granville, the coastal landscapes of the Manche department, and the first sights of Brittany within easy reach.
Nathalie & Laurent welcome guests to La Rose de Ducey, either in their bed and breakfast rooms or in their 4-star holiday cottage. Of French-Indonesian heritage and a graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Nathalie gained ten years of experience in the hospitality industry in Southeast Asia and Paris. In 2018, she and her husband chose to settle in Ducey and return to the art of hospitality, transforming this family home over the years into a distinctive place to stay.
