Overall a solid stay only with a couple of interesting hiccups.
Pros:
- Central location, close walk to shopping and sites.
- Easy check-in process
- Very pleasant and friendly staff. They were also so kind to grant us late checkout free of charge which was much appreciated
- Beds were comfortable
- Kitchenette was stocked with basic utensils/cookware including toaster, pots and pans, nespresso machine, and kettle.
-There’s a dishwasher!
Cons:
-The fire alarm is SUPER sensitive. Every time we’d use the toaster, the fire alarm would sound off despite having the extractor fan, room fan and window open. Not sure why it would set off since there was no smoke.
-The door peephole is only made for tall people and is pretty outrageously high up on the door. I’m 5’2 and needed to stand on a chair to see through it.
-There are no power outlets near mirrors which can be annoying for using hair tools that need to be plugged in. In fact, there was an overall lack of power outlets which also meant having to awkwardly position the fan
-The lighting near the closet mirror and bathroom mirror were too dim/ made it hard to do makeup.
-The overhead lights can make the room really hot so we had to keep them off to stay cool (mind you this is in winter with the window open as well).
-Wish the kitchenette would have had napkins or paper towels.
-Kitchenette sink was comically small making it hard to fill up a water bottle or rinse off dishes larger than a small plate.
