全てが最悪　wifiは使える部屋と使えない部屋があり、使える部屋に変えてもらったが下のバーから音楽がめちゃくちゃ聞こえる トイレは流れない 布団はうっすいのが一枚だけ 床はべこべこ 寝返り打つとバネの音がひどい 泊まらない方がいい

Hotel needs total overall to bring up to required modern standards - floors squeak when walked on, sink had no plug, flooring in bathroom coming up, TV was ancient and did not work anyway. First room given - the radiator did not work so room was like an ice box so has to be asked to move which the hotel did to a room where the radiator worked. Everything needs ripping out and new modern furniture put in plus re decorated all over.

The only positive is its closeness to lots of bars in the Temple Bar area. Our room was very very old, warn out a falling apart. The bed had more lumps and bumps than the grand canyon although the bedding was clean. It absolutely stank of smoke which got into all our clothes & into our skin and hair. The paint was chipping off the walls and was chipped off all the MDF units.The floor in the bathroom was so worn the only pattern left was a grey mouldy mottled looking patch. Don't waste your money staying here. Spend £20 more for a better hotel. Youth hostel would have had a more comfier bed and usable bathroom. Nothing like the picture. The floor, bedding, sink and toilet were clean. Imagine the TV series Rising Damp and you'll be spot on! Horrid! Oh yes and the disco goes on until 2.30 a.m. Walls are thinner than tracing paper and the floor boards....well I'll leave that to your imagination. Never again - ever!

The first room I got in the 3rd floor was smelling to cigarette badly, so then I got one in the 2nd floor looking better but with an old TV and at night time is impossible to sleep because there is a pub downstairs with live music. I should have stayed in the 3rd floor.

Staff is friendly. But the rooms above the bar doesn’t has wifi. That’s very tough for traveler. There’s bar downstairs but actually it’s much quiet than I expected. Overall based on the price the location is good and room is cozy, quiet, clean, just the internet will be huge issue for travelers.

worst experience
Booked a double room but had twin beds with were completely different. Room smelled of stale drink and smoke. The whole building looked uncared for. This was well below basic. Photos were probably taken 10 years ago. Certainly didn’t look like anything which I thought I’d booked.

Das Hotel ist leider ziemlich abgewohnt, und weist einige reparaturbedürftige Mängel auf. Auf Schäden hingewiesen, wurde aber sofort der Hausmeister auf das Zimmer geschickt und die Mängel abgestellt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und um die Bedürfnisse der Gäste bedacht. Da das Hotel mitten in Temple Bar liegt, kann es in den Zimmern laut werden - Ohrstöpsel liegen auf dem Zimmer bereit.

The hotel is located in the City Centre, near the Temple Bar, so walking distance to the main Dublin's atractions or the buses. Although the location is great, the hotel itself is very old and requires renovation. The room was tiny-tiny, clean but all the furniture was very old, damaged. Also the footsteps were heard very loudly. There is no breakfast, no early check-in. The lift is out of order. Although there is no early check-in , you can leave the luggage in the hotel and come back at 3pm for check-in. so, if the location is the most important thing, I wouold recomend this hotel to stay in. If you would like to relax there, than check some other options.

Staff were lovely and helpful. But hotel was very poor in apprearance and facilities. Bed was very old and mattress springs could be seen and felt. Yawning moved the whole actual bed! Room was clean but didnt look it sue to very poor repair and state. TV didnt work and no wifi connection on top floor. Disappointing as staff were all.lovely. Hotel was full so jo point it asking to be moved. Only there for 2 nights.

This was a very disappointing property. The lift doesn’t walk so it was up some 39 steps to the horrid room. 39 steps doesn’t sound much unless like me you have a mobility problem and it was gruelling. The room was disgusting, beds with springs poking up, an advertised breakfast that doesn’t exist, ear plugs provided as the windows are to remain up and it’s next door to a night club. The clincher for me was my 10 year old grandson looking out the window to the street below and saying ‘Gran, what does fetish mean? Because the shop opposite sells masks and fetish.’

This was a horrific hotel. The staff was very nice but the rooms and conditions leave so much to be desired. They shoebox I stayed in was on the fourth floor, and although they advertise as having an elevator it has been broken for 3 years. The beds have probably been there since the 70's and the bathrooms have black mold in the shower which is the size of a phone booth. I do understand that they have new management taking over so maybe things will be upgraded in the future.

This "hotel" is located next to a nightclub that booms until 2 am - we could actually hear the song verses. Hotel staff was no help in moving our room or helping with room heat (none). Very dirty rooms, warped flooring in bathroom, dirt carpet, no security on room door. Room in photo is nothing like the room we had (room 105). TV was a 13" portable tube model at least 40 years old with two channels that did not tune in regularly, no remote. Would have been funny except for the amount of money we paid for this rathole.

Lift al drie jaar stuk. Geen beloofde Wifi, Bedden met matrassen van minstens 15 jaar oud. Meubilair stuk. Raam wat niet verder open of dicht kan. TV welke niet werkt Krakende vloeren. Veel lawaai overlast. Niet alleen van de mensen buiten, maar van de draaiende ventilatoren van airco's van de buren. Geen van onze drie geboekte kamers lijkt maar enigszins op de kamer van de foto

Not a good experience! Elevator was out of order, and looked like had been for some time. No air conditioning, typical for Europe, but no fans offered. WiFi was not working in rooms, just lobby. Rooms were out dated and old smelly carpets throughout. Only thing that was nice, was the staff!

Mold in the bathroom, lights were optional, the toilet flushing system did not make you want to go to the toilet at all, and an ac humming outside directly in front of the window. Staff was pretty cool and nice but we could not deal with the state of the room at all

Disappointed
Good location and pleasant staff but the room was in desperate need of total renovation and not very clean. Towels and bedding were clean and in good condition.

Vous aimez avoir l'impression de dormir sur un lit de bois? Vous avez toujours voulu avoir un code secret (tire sur la poignée, tourne la clé et pousse sur la porte), afin de pouvoir l'ouvrir? Vivre dans un sauna vous plaît? Si vous avez répondu oui, alors je vous recommande cet ''hôtel''. Je ne suis pas du genre à lire les commentaires, mais cette fois-ci. Notre expérience a été désagréable. Plancher qui grinche à chaque pas, la fenêtre ne s'ouvre pas plus qu'un pouce, on doit se battre avec la porte afin de l'ouvrir, on doit se battre aussi avec les portes de la douche, moisissures, on se réveille avec un mal de dos, il fait très chaud dans la chambre, le wi-fi débarque souvent, télévision d'un pouce sans télécommande,etc. On s'attendait à ce qu'il y ai du bruits, car l'emplacement se trouve très proche des bars. Prendre note que le bruit s'arrête vers 3h-3h30 am.

Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsom resepsjonist - hjalp oss med bilbestilling og reiseråd til Kilkenny - gjorde alt hun kunne for at vi skulle ha det bra. Ellers: Mitt rom: Greit renhold, oppussa bad, ikke TV (bar tatt bort fra festet på veggen), vindu ikke til å rikke - fikk det heldigvis på gløtt), dørhåndtakene på entredøra løsne og datt ut - ble forsøkt ordna av «the man», men sponplatedøra ga ikke feste til skruene - jeg måtte mekke for å komme ut og inn og redda meg ved å sette en sko i døråpningen. Min datters rom: Nedslitt bad, tett badekar, ikke reingjort (?), ikke mulig å åpne vindu, TV fungerte ikke. Vegg-til-vegg-tepper er uhygienisk, lukta gammal røyk i korridorer, skummelt bed brann - mange kriker og kroker og trapper. Hyggelig bar tilknytta hotellet, fin stemning der og et glass prosecco som velkomst. Temple Bar er kanskje OK på dagtid, men utrolig mye fyll og drita folk på kveld og natt, mye hyling og roping. Skal aldri tilbake til det hotellet. Synd for de hyggelige resepsjonistene vi møtte, de hadde fortjent et bedre arbeidssted. Ellers var Dublin og Irland bra.

Amazing location and very friendly staff
Me and my friend stayed in Dublin for a city break weekend. The hotel is in an amazing location and very close to temple bar. The staff at the hotel made the holiday they were so helpful and so welcoming, helped us around and told us some great places to see in Dublin. There is a bar/pub right next door with live music which is so handy, and you couldn't hear any music in our room (3rd floor). However, the lift wasn't working when we stayed and it was hard work with the cases. The rooms themselves had everything we needed and was clean. The room themselves could do with redecoration and is a little small. However, this didn't impact our stay and my friend and I was perfectly happy and really enjoyed our stay.
