Great spot and will look to stay again, the only downside was the check in was confusing s no longer at the site giving in the booking. This site were still very helpful and assisted us. Overall it was great value and a perfect drop in spot.

Gut gelegen und sehr gepflegt :)
gefehlt ein Spültuch zum abtrocknen und eine Toilettenbürste.Leider sind die Fenster nicht schalldicht und man hört die Straßenbahn, Bus und Autos
Service was bad. Didn’t get into my apartment on time and those who I called at the help desk were a bit rude and didn’t understand I hadn’t received the information for my booking yet
Le logement était propre à mon arrivée mais pas d'entretien pendant mes deux semaines de réservation. Il a fallu que je demande leur passage et là le ménage a été fait au minimum. Donc je ne suis pas trop satisfaite pour ça
Sehr schöne Unterkunft, viel Platz und sehr sauber. Super Lage, sehr zentral.

Pictures nothing like reality
I'd love to know where the photos of the apartments were taken as they looked nothing like the room we stayed in...Very misleading to say the least!!! Particularly the balcony snap that looks lovely - well the view from our apartment was nothing like that and I've yet to see a balcony.
Its not a place i'd stay in again in all fairness, the surrounding area was a little run down, to be polite, and in need of a good clean....
The apartment itself is in need of a little TLC and a good clean (the shower curtain was minging), but given we were here to enjoy the delights of Dublin we thankfully didn't spend too long in it. Location wise 10 minute walk to Temple Bar which was brilliant.
The property was in a great location for those traveling without a vehicle. Hop on hop off, airport shuttle, public transportation all with a 2 minute walk to the apartment. 15 minute walk to temple bar and all the action! If you read your itinerary prior to arrival, you will have no issues finding the apartment. It’s literally a 1 minute walk from the reception area. When I read the reviews originally, some people made it sound like the hotel sends you on a search around the city, that is definitely not the case. It was easy to find. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who might struggle with stairs - there is a lot of stairs, especially if your room is on the top floor. The unit was clean but had a lot of visible wear and tear on the walls. Having a washer (hang dry only) in the unit was amazing. The windows overlook the ‘Living Room’ pub/Murray’s patio which was convenient but quite noisy at all hours of the night. Overall good experience. I would recommend for any younger travellers that are okay with stairs and pretty cool sports bar located under your building. We would definitely stay here again.
Kändes centralt, rent och snyggt. Lugnt trots närheten till pubar och stor gata. Trevlig, fräsch lägenhet med all bekvämlighet man kan behöva. Återkommer gärna 😊
Property is lovely inside. But I have no idea where the image of the balcony comes from. It isn’t like this at all. It’s small facing a dirty building and has no outdoor furniture! Entry to the property is also ofputting, but once in its fine
Fantastic location , great space, nice reception and general service

Does what it says on the tin
Check in is at a property across the street, which would have been useful to know in advance (like when you book). Once someone from hotels.com had figured that out for us the apartment we had (on the 3rd floor) was quite nice: clean, well sized, well located for seeing the sights (Parnell Street Luas is outside the front door of the building) & pretty well equipped. It was a little noisy (both from the street below & nearby apartments) and the fridge didn’t close properly... but we enjoyed our stay there and the living area gave our kids a nice place to play and relax.
Firstly, the picture associated with the O'Connell Street Apartments looks nothing like the actual area which is now a seedy part of town although it is near an area of Dublin which apparently was part of high society. It no longer looks that way. The apartment is in an old building that houses a Casino on the lower level and so cigarette smoke can be smelled through the apartment. The bedrooms were refurbished but the carpets are dirty and the floors are uneven. There was dirty liquid dripping down one side of the bedrooms walls. The clocks weren't working and the shower stall was all moldy. Buyer beware. Not worth the money.
