The Hotel is modern, clean and convenient to the RDS. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very unimpressive. After check in, we were offered no help with our luggage (I'm disabled and walk with a crutch). There was only a small hand towel in the bathroom, so we had to call for more. Be aware that there is no laundry service at weekends. I had to call for an iron and ironing board, which were ancient!
As we had arrived in the evening, we ordered room service, from a very limited menu. The food was not good and there was a charge of 6.50 euros per tray. All the soda bottles in the mini fridge had bottle caps that needed a bottle opener. This was unavailable, so every time that you wanted to open a bottle of coke, you had to call requesting that someone came to the room to open it!
The coffee machine wouldn't work and neither did the shower.
The room service food was basic and not what you'd expect from a 4 star Hotel. After our RDS visit, we ordered room service chicken sandwiches, which were practically inedible. Stale white bread and very cold chewy chicken, so we left them.
The mattresses on the beds are very hard, as were the pillows. The most worrying issue was the safe would not open, after we locked it at night. A staff member came to try to open it, but she couldn't open it either. She told us that we needn't worry, as it happens all the time! Not reassuring! She called another staff member, who luckily opened it.
Overall, I would rate this a 2 Star Hotel.
