"Quiet location. Nice room, comfortable and clean."

"This hotel has several different types of buildings and rooms, we chose a queen bed corner room at the end of the pier. Next to the lobster boats. It was older, a little cramped for two, but oh my, the views!! Three large picture windows with screens, on two different walls. If you want the Ritz, this isn't it, but if you love panoramic views of the harbor, vintage character, and a really cool experience of living above the water with boats, ducks, seals and birds all around you, you'll love this place. There are many other Tug Boat Inn rooms that I'm sure are newer and updated, but we loved our quaint little corner beside the boats. The restaurant was very nice- our seafood portions were huge and the desserts were amazing. The hotel service, all around, was awesome. The location and parking was perfect, also-we were on the end of the main drag, but very walkable to everything. The only reason we wouldn't give this a perfect review is just because of the age of our room and not a lot of space for luggage, etc, but we would rent it again in a heartbeat. "

"Understandably, the hallways were a mess due to construction. But I’m not sure I have ever seen such a sloppy work site. There appeared to be zero effort put into keeping things “tidy” while under construction. The entry door would not close and lock unless you put a lot of extra effort into it. I closed it a few times but it was always left open when I went though. Pretty sure the building was never secure over night. Along with that the deadbolt wouldn’t work in my room. I have had a great experience here in the past, and I’m sure that it will return that level after the construction. I just feel like it could have been managed better and safer."

"The cloud 9 Restaurant which is attached to the Inn was ok. Not many options. Rooms were clean, beds are extremely hard. "

"Traveled to the area for a karate tournament. Location was very convenient and hotel was very clean and comfortable! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The restaurant staff , including the restaurant manager was very helpful. The person at the front desk should not be at any front desk. Upon checking in Iwe were told we were not staying at the Inn itself but Carriage house. In other words where people that wanted to bring their dogs stayed. We do not have a dog nor do they have a elevator in the carriage house."

"There was no hot water for showers! I was not told this on check in and found it as a terrible surprise the following morning. At check out I alerted the front desk and the response was, "yeah we know, we have had some people working on it but its not fixed." I asked how long its been this way and she said "I'm not sure but for a while." Absolutely not acceptable for staff not to alert customers of this issue upon arrival. A cold shower is not how most people on trips want to start the day."
