Really friendly, beautiful setting, quiet. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast (as you would expect from a pastry chef). You eat at a table with the other guests in our case from Belgium and the Netherlands and much laughter was had alongside several different languages! The photos do not really do it justice

「We loved this place. Mary (spelled English but pronounced French) is delightful. The property is her house and has only a very few rooms available. But our room was much larger than anywhere else we have stayed, had a larger bathroom than most places, and even had a shared kitchen. It is in a very quiet neighborhood, but there are cafes around the corner, and everything in Amboise is just across the bridge.」
「Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease.
We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful.
