And the surrounding countryside really is beautiful for sure. It’s great too being able to get mini-bus taxi cabs for groups to come out to the house for trips to Dingle and general tours also. Thanks for letting us know about those dining chairs Eileen - we have ordered new ones, thanks. We’re confused about your comment about the upstairs main bathroom only having a handheld shower though..yes, there is a handheld shower in the large two-person jacuzzi in that bathroom..but it also has a spacious shower cubicle with power-shower too which guests love. Thanks so much Sarah for your lovely review! We're delighted that you found the house to be perfect for your extended family. It's great that it suits both large groups and smaller ones too. Yes, guests love how close it is to vibrant Dingle and yet so peaceful by the sea! The main beach is the one photographed in the listing and is large and sandy. Perhaps, you were there when the tide was fully in, with an extra-high tide. Very occasionally after a freak storm, the sea sweeps some of the sand out and creates a sand bar but then brings it back in again shortly after. The beach is a highlight for so many guests! Dear Stacy, Thank you for leaving the house in a such a wonderful clean way! However just to clarify that we definitely DON’T expect our guests to do that! We have professional cleaners that come in after check-out to make it lovely for incoming guests - just as they did for your arrival. We love the house to be perfect for our guests. We do request basic things to be done before check-out - like refuse placed in the bins provided etc. These things are standard with most holiday lets. Guests are always made aware of this on booking as they are included in the letting agreement that guests accept when making their reservation. Many thanks for your great review. Dear Brendan, Thank you for going to the trouble of writing a review. Thank you for your kind words about the spaciousness of the house, the wonderful beach and the closeness to Dingle.. Yes it’s wonderful and our guests really love that. We are sorry to hear in this review that you weren’t completely happy with your stay. We were especially surprised to hear that, as you had emailed us right at the end of your stay and said ‘’Hi Niamh, All is well here and we are having a lovely time at the house’’. We do so wish that you had informed us during your stay, as we pride ourselves on responding to any issues raised by our guests promptly and professionally (as other guests have stated in the multiple 5-star reviews here on this site). We are grateful for your feedback and also must clarify a few points you raised. Check-in is in fact from 4pm (not 5pm) and our check-in and check-out (10am) times are standard for such a large house. We understand that you weren’t happy at not being given a late check-out however this large house really needs a great deal of work and time between guests, to ensure that it is presented beautifully for the incoming guests (just as it was for your group). It takes a lot more than just cleaning and we also ensure that there are other special touches like wine, chocolates and flowers left for our guests too. All guests are asked to agree to those times and terms during the online booking process so that they know in advance. The recycling goes in the blue refuse bin behind the house - perhaps the members of your group that checked in earlier than you did not convey this to you. There is only one window in the whole house that we ask not to be opened and it is only one roof window in the upstairs lounge, because it has the TV right beneath it and with irish weather being unpredictable it could get damaged by rain. In that same room is another large window that can be freely opened along with all the other windows in the house. Regarding the jacuzzi – again we would like to assure you that had you informed us of the problem with it during your stay, we would have had a plumber out straight away. We are glad to report that guests have been enjoying the use of the jacuzzi for the last few months now since your stay. We really do strive to create a wonderful experience for our guests hence why we have 63 five-star reviews from guests who were absolutely thrilled, more than any other property in our area.
