Beautiful room, amazing location, great hosts and a lovely breakfast. The hotel is in an incredible old building in the heart of Dinan. There’s a truly beautiful lounge for the use of guests and the hosts are charming and helpful. Highly recommended!
La Pavie is a lovely place to stay in Dinan. Catherine is warm and welcoming, and the whole house has a calm, relaxed feel. Breakfast is excellent - the quality of the produce is great. It is served in the shared dining/breakfast room. Part of the history of the house is reflected in the multiple tea choices which was a really nice touch.
The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town and opposite a beautiful church. There's a quiet charm to the place that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy Dinan. really enjoyed our stay here.
The property was excellent, the house is very well kept and has trendy decoration.
Breakfast was excellent and in a very chic dining room.
We couldn´t walk on the street outside Maison Pavie, the main square it is being worked on and it´s going to take a while to get it done.
There was a construction in front of the Hotel. it was difficult to get inside the Hotel. There is no air conditioning. You have to open the windows to get a better temperature but then you have the noise of the construction and the bells of the Church that is in front of the hotel. It had an excellent location and service was great.
This is a beautiful old, well maintained property centrally located in the historic city center. It was comfortable and quiet. We woke each morning to the sounds of an owl and bells of the nearby clock tower. We enjoyed the shared living room and dining room spaces. Staff was accommodating but not superior.
Online the hotel shows it situated in a quaint cobbled street square with a church and a couple of bars opposite with on street parking, this was not the case. The whole square was under major construction and thankfully we stayed at a weekend because on Monday morning at 745am the workmen/heavy plant machinery started to create a lot of dust/noise. Room was clean and comfortable but very warm, no air conditioning or fan. Open plan toilet to bedroom not shown truly online, a little misleading. Wooden spiral staircase with rope handrail leading up to bedroom, not very accessible. Breakfast selection very good and plentiful. Nearby free car parking was provided after we had checked in. Email received beforehand about road works outside did not explain the extent of the construction or how to gain access to the hotel or where to park this needs to be greatly improved.
Loved our all too brief stay and will definitely return. What a beautiful hotel and we were so sorry we had to leave before breakfast! Our room was stunning with a great double shower and the comfiest of beds.
I love this place and look forward to going back some day. Our host was very helpful, personable, and spoke perfect English. Our room was quite large and the bathroom was perfect. The bed was comfortable and our views were beautiful- the cathedral on one side and the patio and morning sun on the other. The fantastic array of teas was especially nice in the evenings.
We loved our stay at La Maison Pavie. Of the four hotels that we stayed during our trip to France, this was the most enjoyable. The room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom was large (nice two person shower, strong pressure). Parking was included which was very convenient. Excellent location right in the center of town, but also very quiet. The lounge room was perfect to get away and drink a cider or some tea, maybe even catch up on some emails listening to some chill music. However, the best part was the host, Ghislain. He was super nice and informative and a pleasure to talk to. He was very gracious and presented a very lovely breakfast for the guests. We recommend staying here if you are ever in Dinan.
Hier stimmt einfach alles. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Ein einmalig schönes Zimmer. Liebevolles Frühstück. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und empfehlen es gerne an unsere Freunde weiter
