About this property
Ligurian village, apartment in the historic center
The house is located in a small Ligurian village, Diano Gorleri, about 6 km from the sea, between Diano Marina and Imperia. The accommodation consists of a kitchen-living room and a bedroom connected by a spiral staircase.
In addition, there is a guest house on the first floor where you can relax in a hammock, play a game of chess, read a book, or store your bikes after a ride. Ideal for those who love the sea but also enjoy nature walks, whether on foot or by bike.
Originally, the house was a barn (fenéa) for the oil mill below (gombo). It has been recently renovated, and the furnishings are new, entirely handmade, inspired by the design of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, and feature some 3D “trompe-l’œil” details waiting to be discovered :-)
Parking is free on the street (about 30–40 meters away) or in a small parking lot nearby.
The house is located next to the church, and you can hear the bells ringing nearby—this is typical of villages and historic centers but might be bothersome, so it’s best to know this in advance
Diano Marina is home to this vacation home. Villa Grock and Manuel Belgrano Busto are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Museo dell'Olivo and Naval Museum of Imperia. Museo Navale del Ponente Ligure and I giardini di Villa della Pergola are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with fishing nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with cycling and mountain biking. Visit our Diano Marina travel guide
