Lots of mosquitoes in the room. Old bathroom. They charged nearly 40% to take out some cash. Good breakfast.

Solid 4 stars, but probably would not stay again.

This hotel was very good and most of the staff were exceptional. Check in was a bit rough because they mis-charged me for the taxi (also I wish they would just tell you the total rather than say $15++ and assume you know the ++ is an additional charge. They also told me breakfast was not included in my stay even though I showed them on my reservation where it said "breakfast included." Lastly, the hotel is pretty far from everything in Dhaka. It is in a very nice area where all the embassies are, but getting into old Dhaka (and getting back) was a pretty long trip. In hindsight I would book closer to the old city.

The cleaning staff stole my money from the room and hotel management did not do anything about it. The room was noisy and full of cigarette smell even the room was non smoking. Bathroom was dated and shower did not work either. Rubbish hotel with rubbish staff. Will avoid this like plague in future.

Nice hotel in a good area, but far from old Dhaka

I stayed in this hotel twice and would say the overall rating would be 4.5 (so one 4 star review, one 5 star) Food was very good and the hotel was nice, but far from anything you would want to see in Dhaka.

The hotel is at the very central area. However the hotel was renovated from an originally apartment. So, it seems weird and it is a little bit old. The staff is nice and the food at the restaurant is fine.

Bad experience

Bad smell in the room, bad lighting, either complete dark or strong lighting. The furniture is very old. No coffee in the bar and you're not allowed to get your drinks from outside, so you have to buy from their restaurant. Terribly, the bathroom floor flooded after bathing.

This hotel is in a great location in the upscale Gulshan area. A nice park and a shopping center with a gracery store are a few steps away. The hotel looks like an apartment building with no sign in English letters. Upon check in I was informed that there will be no breakfast due to low occupancy. They were supposed to contact me to bring breakfast to my room but it never happened. It was ok but I regretted not staying at the Westin nearby. I went to Westin for all the meals.

Newer property. They do a very good job keeping the property clean. My biggest pet peeve is bathroom cleanliness. My suite had a nice really clean bathroom. Rooms were also very clean. Really liked the property and the location was simply perfect. Near lots of places to eat and shop.
