Welcome to 118 Chicago Street!
OVERVIEW: Well-appointed, quintessential Dewey Beach single-family home in Rehoboth By the Sea! Located just 1.5 blocks from the beach, this home evokes a carefree coastal lifestyle and offers recent upgrades, including a private pool. Stunning and spacious rear patio with seating, fire pit, gas grill, and an outdoor shower with changing room. Sleeping 12 people comfortably with ample room for the whole family. The main level features a spacious living room and a kitchen that overlooks the rear yard and pool. One bedroom, a hall bathroom, and a dining area with a dining table to accommodate the family. The second level offers four spacious bedrooms and two hall bathrooms. Pool toys, beach umbrellas, and a beach wagon are available for guests' use. This recently updated home is the ideal place for a beach vacation.
LOCATION: Walk to downtown Dewey Beach and enjoy the nightlife and water sports, or jump onto the Jolly Trolley and head into downtown Rehoboth Beach to enjoy the boardwalk, shopping, and some of the finest dining in the area. This is a perfect vacation spot, situated on a quiet, family-friendly street with mature trees, lush landscaping, and plenty of off-street parking.
PARKING: Private driveway for approx. six vehicles.
AMENITIES: EV charger available upon request. The private pool will open on May 1st and will be closed for the season on October 31st. The pool is heated automatically. Ceiling fans, a washer, a dryer, Wi-Fi, an outdoor shower, a gas grill, a fire pit with outdoor seating, and a pet-friendly (no cats).
THINGS TO KNOW: Two dogs are permitted (no cats), and each dog is charged a pet fee. Linens are not supplied. However, we offer a linen rental package for guests. Delaware Accommodations Intermediary # 2024713094.
Damage waiver: The 199.99 processing fee is non-refundable in the event you cancel. The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Location, location, location!

Fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Property mgr was exceptionally responsive to our needs. Pool was a hit sunce it was so hot and humid. We wete in it twice a day! Bedroooms comfortable and kitchen had all we needed for mesl prep.

It was such a wonderful stay with our family. We loved the easy access to downtown Dewey or rehobeth. The pool was such a bonus for two little girls age 4 and 7. The house had anything and everything that we could have imagined. It was nicely decorated as well. Highly recommend!!

We stay at the beach every summer, first time with a pool. I was surprised at how wonderful it was to have a pool. Fun for the kids in the evening while we made dinner. There was plenty of sleeping space but it didn’t feel crowded. The house was very clean the the kitchen well stocked and the location could not have been better.

Lovely & Peaceful!

The home is a perfect blend of beach cozy w/modern day comforts, convenience of location and your own pool! Really Love the location and easy walk to Fifer’s, the beach and into Dewey for lunches and dinners too. The only constructive feedback I’d give is to update the listing to properly reflect the home doesn’t have a Primary Bedroom w/En Suite. None of the five bedrooms has a bathroom directly or privately attached. For this Renter, w/Family and Friends invited, that distinction is very important prior to booking. It felt purposely misleading and having that prior knowledge would certainly help to avoid confusion and any arrival disappointments of future renters. Other than that PR mistake we loved the home. Thank You!
