The room was clean is the only nice thing to say. The same unsavory people hanging in the lobby at 6 pm, were still there at 5 am. One of these people called the front desk ckerk so I could check in after I stood there for a long time. I called the hotel number but it went straight to voice mail so I presume this person had the clerk's personal number. The queen beds were actually double beds.

When I got there no one was at the front desk and there was 2 ladies talking in the hallway like they were friends. I waited for a few minutes and knocked on the counter to see if anyone came out and with a attitude one of the ladies says it’s me and you have to wait I’m with another customer. Why didn’t she say when I walked in sir give me a minute I’m with another cust I’ll be with you in a shortly. I’m not a mind reader to know who they are.

The good: The staff was professional and courteous. The beds were comfortable and the showerhead allowed you to adjust the water pressure to your liking. . The bad: The floors were literally warped, the sheets and towels were threadbare, the refrigerator was disgusting and the windows were filthy.

Loud banging, slamming & doors & stomping all night! Marijuana pot smells all night in the hallway and rooms. Shuttle service was good.

Where to start? The person at the front desk also drives the shuttle, which means they are slow to pick you up, and people then wait at the hotel for someone to come back to check them in. Took us an hour to get the shuttle and to the hotel at midnight. Walk into room - lights dont work. Literally had no blankets in the room. In winter. Fridge - didn’t work. Heater - didn’t work (had to reset the GFCI button). Freezing cold in the room - took an hour to warm up. Again - the beds had a sheet ONLY - no blankets. In the bathroom, the wall had what looked like a three finger fecal smear on the wall (not joking at all). Breakfast at 7:30 had a total of two waffles to toast, and one English muffin. This hotel would maybe be worth it if the stay was free, but definitely not worth anything north of $20.

I was very satisfied for my price. Of course 60 bucks won't get you 5 star but the hotel was very clean and comfortable. I have no complaints. I would recommend American Inn for a short stay

This is honestly the worst hotel I've ever been to. I would not recommend for people with children, or standards on cleanliness. It's by far the loudest and dirtiest hotel I've ever been to. Management does not offer any help for concerns bright to their attention either. Tons of drug users walking around. Just crazy! Avoid. I couldn't even shower there due to my feet sticking to the scum... not to mention it's so loud from all directions it's practically impossible to sleep. The hotel has new room furnishings so it's a shame it's been kept and managed the way its been.

Wont stay again
Our stay was awful. But the staff was good. There was a broken chair. And on that chair and the curtains was puke. They had to remove the chair from our room. The couch had a huge stain on it. So there was no where to sit but the bed and a computer chair. The blanket had burn holes in it. There was a towel shoved in the ceiling. The microwave didnt work and seemed like it was going to explode. The bathroom tub was dirty.

The room we rented was dirty, had not been cleaned. The chair was broken, the bed was broken, the blanket on the bed had burn holes, a hole was cut in the window screen, the roof was caving in, the smoke detector was gone, there was mustard and food spilled all over the room, the tub was broken, there was also a hole in the ceiling and broken light fixtures.
