"The house has great bones and is in a wonderful location in the adorable village of St Felicien. The host was communicative and polite. The main problem is that the interior furnishings haven't been updated - the beds and mattresses are all very old. The kitchen had dishes and utensils, but we had to rewash everything. Many of the surfaces were dusty. It smelled like it had been shuttered for a while. We ended up getting a room at the local hotel after a single night. I hate to post a negative...

"This is a budget environment place. We stayed for one brief night but were not impressed by the place. For ex. we had to make our own beds, and a bed sheet was torn/ripped, and we needed to clean up after ourselves to avoid a cleaning charge, which I didn't like on a vacation. "Excellent stay. I was only there one night unfortunately but after walking 10 km to watch the European cycling championships I was grateful for the very comfortable bed and excellent pillows. I had a great sleep😁. All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and professional. Definitely hoping to return for a longer stay."
