When we arrived, the staff transferred our reservation to another hotel without our consent. They claimed due to electrical issue in the room. We believe it was because we paid at a lower price six months ago and the current price went up. They over booked and they decided to cancel ours so I they can offer our rooms...

「Remarkable value with amenities we could not enjoy because we were only there one night.」

Make sure you are aware of Italian dining hours because food options become very limited between meals. I had to drive 30 mins to find a food option that was open (in portoferraio). The “private” beach is actually a small part of a public beach and you have to pay to use the chairs or umbrellas. Hotel is a stop over for tour buses during the day so there are people at the facility...
