「We’ve stayed here several times and like the location. They were having to upgrade electrical so we’re without power for several hours. Did help us get access to an empty room though so we could get ready for a big event.」

「No elevator and about 25 stairs to the 2nd floor. A very unique old historic building that has been renovated into a hotel and restaurant and bar.」

「I would rather sleep in a pig sty than ever stay at Modoc Inn! Bathroom door only attached by the bottom hinge. Blood on the sheets. I brought it to the attention of the front employee? Didn’t care. Window was so dirty you could hardly see out. I guess it’s a good thing, because what I could see? Old mattresses piled up. I paid for 3 beds with an up charge. Got 2 and no refund. I would have went elsewhere, but the whole town was sold out! I wouldn’t waist your Money. Horrible Horrible Motel!!」

「We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again」

「This was our first time visiting Modoc County and we are so happy we booked Gooseloop Getaway for our 4-night stay. This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town. Entire house was extremely clean and updated. So many amenities - TV’s, great WiFi service, barbeque and patio set outside. Air conditioning was nice to have on a few warm days. If...
