「It is a great holiday destination. It was very cold at night even with the hot water bottle. Consider having extra covering for those who may require them.」

「Recently stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon trip to Kenya. After a week on safari the amenities were much appreciated, and from our experience, this hotel is one of the most luxurious in the country. WiFi in common areas was fine, room views of watering hole were amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. Lots of animals everyday at the watering hole, there are many openings to the outdoors so plan on bringing warm clothes even when hanging out inside. The beds could afford to be a bit more...

「A beautiful mix of an older well maintained period building from the 1940's and well made rooms and cottages that stay within its original form. Placed in an excellent spot, by the river, with lots of bird and smaller antelope wildlife. Excellent staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. Internet could be much better.」

「Lewa Stay of a lifetime! I splashed out for a three day stay and could not fault anything. The animals on the game drives were amazing, especially rhinos and lions were amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable and obviously still excited about it all. The camp was comfort personified and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It was lovely to dip into a little piece of luxury and also to see the good work the Lewa Conservancy is doing. It gives one hope for the future.」

「We had only 1 night stay here so didn’t get to experience the full stay, but overall it excellent service, only suggestion is be physically fit if staying in the honeymoon tent as it is located at the bottom of the hill so carrying luggage up can be a challenge for some, beautiful tent」

「Very friendly, dedicated and caring staff. Christine at reception was a darling. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the minibar. They even gave us a hot water bottle for our room. Water was provided and internet was great. We would come back and enjoyed our stay. Parking and pool were there. Breakfast had a lot of choices. It had a guarded gate, so it is a very safe place.」

「I had a great stay at the hotel - it was quiet in the rooms down by the river. The garden is a wonderful place for breakfast in the morning and the staff were very helpful.」

「The staff was literally outstanding!! The tent was gorgeous. Our major complaint was the food choice was very limited and not always geared to an 'American' consumer. We had a couple great meals and the rest were hard to enjoy since we don't eat seafood.」

We finally arrived and packed our car by the gate for ten minutes waiting for the gate door bell to be answered as the gate was not manned.
