"I was running late in my travel day. The owner called to see if I was ok and stilled planned on arriving the night of my stay. How utterly refreshing! I was two+hours. She turned on the AC and TV to welcome me “home” for the night. Such a nice touch. I was on the road for 2 weeks, primarily in motels for that amazing Americana feel. This motel was the best of the bunch! Comfortable and quiet room. Great shower, too. Thanks KJs! Well done. "

"I stayed here one night for a work trip. The front desk staff was very friendly and since I booked online, it was a pretty smooth transaction. The lock to the room had to be jiggled to get the key to work and everything was pretty dated - no frills, that’s for sure. There was no hair dryer, so pack your own. Nice fridge, which was great since I brought food with me. No coffee pot but there was coffee in the lobby. No continental breakfast was served. It seemed expensive for what it was - I paid $164 and it should have been half that. "

"The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. We will definitely rent again if given the opportunity. Only 15 minutes or so from Pierre and the drive is beautiful. We had a family of six, four adults and twin grandchildren (11 years old). Also, the host was responsive and friendly! I would highly recommend this vacation rental, you will not be disappointed. "
