「Stayed for one night in the Bettyhill hotel. The location is fantastic with wonderful views from the reception area, restaurant and lounges. Check in was quick and efficient and our room was modern and spotlessly clean. There is a good choice on the restaurant menu and the food was tasty and well presented. There was also a really good breakfast service. The staff and hosts at the hotel were brilliant, very welcoming, friendly and efficient. We will definitely stay here again.」

「Everything was set on arrival. We had a nice stay in a very quiet neighbourhood. Maybe a bit to far if you would not have a car. The house could already do with an update. Especially the kitchen, or rather the equipment. The frying pan for example was really in a horrible state. Some people might like the electricity meter, but I found it a bit creepy, as if we were watched... Another item that clearly needs a change is the mattress. It was way to soft and we could feel the bottom of the bed....

「A friendly welcome awaited us at this beautiful property. Our room ( lodge) was stunning. Warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Fell asleep to the sound of the river roaring down beside the lodge. Breakfast was served by efficient, very friendly staff and was delicious. Would definetly recommend and hope to return.」

「I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future.」

「Hotels.com booked us in here as we had been double booked at our original booking. We didn't mind at all and in fact we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel.The staff were loely as was the room and breakfast. Very well done hotels.com and Mackays hotel.」
