"Great place to stay near Blois town centre, in what was the location of original Poulain chocolate factory. Modern ish building, not superbly maintained though. Lift was out of order most of the time we were there, which was a major inconvenience for an elderly member of our group, and luggage transport. The newly refurbished bedrooms are great, not much storage space around the bed but good enough. "

"Third floor walk up room, no elevators!👎 Automatic Access System initially inoperative as could not send texts to US phones. Was able to access manually thanks to remote operator. The next day I was able to chat online and got an Email for access. Thereafter good. Excellent lounge and breakfast well handled by local manager. Very clean overall. Large room but needs more towel holders. Quite a good place if you have a room on the ground floor or first floor."

"Great House and the pool was a bonus. Large garden and very quiet area, yet close enough to Chambord, Ambrose, Blois and the Zoo at Beauval… Great communications with the owner.. Would go again…"

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."

Le logement n’est selon nous pas adapté pr plus d’1 nuit. il n’y au aucun endroit reposant pouvant accueillir plus de 7 personnes assises et à condition d’apprécier sassoir sur un canapé en lambeau , raccommode avec une planche , comme s’il venait d’une déchèterie. Nous avons eu le sentiment de rendre le logement plus propre qu à notre arrivée. Sinon le logement est parfaitement bien équipé hormis le faite que...

Good for overnight stopover en route to the South.

"Clean and comfortable room. Bed comfortable.We ate in the restaurant where the pizza was good but the chocolate fondant dessert a bit dried out - definitely couldn't find the fondant part! Staff were pleasant but all appeared to be doing several jobs at once so a little chaotic! "
