The unit is beautiful and spacious. The pictures accurately reflect the condo and the views. The check-in/out process was easy and required little interaction with staff. The elevators were always fast and never much of a wait. The parking garage provided assigned parking right near the door. The property is at a stoplight which helps when leaving the condo. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. I especially liked how the beach chair assignments worked. You would use your key fob on a board each morning to be provided your chair location.
Because this is owned by a property company, there were “little things” missing that I have come to expect from private owners on Vrbo. For example, the linens were low quality - scratchy sheets and towels, subpar ice maker and no ice machine on site, poor A/C in the master bedroom despite turning it down to 62, no information about the area or recommended restaurants, no hair dryer (!), no board games or cards and no access to a beach closet.
In addition, the condition of the unit was a bit scruffy…pictures and TVs hung crooked, there was hair on the master toilet seat when we arrived (yuck!), lots of scuff marks and built up mildew in the shower.
I splurged on this condo and, for the price tag, expected better.
I would not recommend renting from Compass.
