Our stay was everything we expected and more! Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with beautiful views. Management company was very pleasant and professional. Property was extremely clean and had ample furniture with living room seating for 8+

Wonderful place

Plenty of room for everyone! Everyone loved the elevator, very convenient! Pool was very nice and roomy. The grounds were very well manicured!

Great place to stay.

The condo was great for our family (w/ 2 kids - 7yr and 3rd) and in-laws. Easy place to get in and out of. The heated pooled saved the trip with the cooler weather days. The only negative is that the back door needs a way to lock from inside the condo. Overall - we would rent this place again for sure.

Wonderful

This is a beautiful condo. We loved the private elevator set up. Only complaint would be picking up the keys off property. Maybe you could mail them to the renters? Other than that absolutely loved it!

magical stay

I really enjoyed this rental and would most definitely rent again for our family reunions here at Destin. We spend our summers at the beach and have really enjoyed the stay. spacious, everything is new. But what was really impressive is that whatever hiccups that you did come across, the communications was steadfast and taken care of. We had two hiccups. one was a broken coffee machine, they messaged me back. Luckily there was another one there. but minor things. handled all in one day. Love that the towels were all sealed wrapped, and there was plenty of them. Our whole family truly enjoyed our stay. it was perfect!

UNIT NEEDS RENOVATIONS

I have stayed at St. Marteen at Silver Shells on at least 6 occasions and each was excellent. This unit is old and in need of renovations. Once of bedroom entertainment centers even has a VHS tape machine connected. This should not be on the market until renovations are done.

Disappointed stay

1. The unit bathroom is very dirty. There is mold and mildew everywhere. 2. The kitchen oven is very dirty. There is crump and grease all over the oven. It looks like they have not clean it for months. 3. The furniture is old. Every chair you sat on is sinking. I am a lightweight, 115 lbs and it still sinks on me. 4. The property advertising there is tennis court and basketball court on site. However, there is no net on the tennis court and there is no basketball rim on the basketball court. It’s part of the reason why I booked the property so we have other activities to do if we are tired of the beach. I don’t know why they advertise that they have it when they are not working. 5. You have to have access card to go to the pool and the beach. There are 4 adults in our group and we were given only 3 keys. It’s inconvenient for us trying to wait for each other to go together due to access card. 6. The property advertisement private beach but they don’t provide any beach chairs. You have to rent the beach chair if you want to use the beach. They don’t even let you use your own beach chairs or umbrella. We have to use the public beach everyday because we have kids and we needed lots of beach chair and tent. I definitely will not return there. It was a disappointment stay.

Breathtaking views

The pictures don’t do this listing justice. The view is outstanding. The beds were super comfy. Everything was very clean when we walked in. The only thing we found were some of the dishes weren’t properly washed before we got there so we just rewatched everything which was no big deal. We did let the property management know and they did offer to come over right away and clean everything for us. They were very attentive and reached out more than once via phone or email to see if we needed anything. You don’t really need to go anywhere once you get your groceries. They had everything we needed to cook with and we could just walk right onto the beach. We would definitely book here again!! Well worth it!

Dirty and outdated

My family and I were excited for our Destin vacation but this property was not up to par. If I could read it a zero, I would. The pictures online are not accurate of the actual property. The unit had not been cleaned as there were cookies and chips and sand all over the floor as well as personal items left in the bathrooms and paperwork showing personal details left by the previous renter on the kitchen stool. It appeared as if they had just removed the living room rug since you could see the dirty outline of where it had been in all the crumbs in sand that were left behind. I had to find a broom in the unit to clean the unit myself. Then, to top it off, We noticed a large dark stain under the master fitted sheet and when we pulled it back, we found a huge blood stain on the mattress pad, mattress protector, and mattress. It was very apparent that the cleaning crew ignored the huge stain and just thought Placing a fitted sheet over it would suffice! It was absolutely horrifying! We did report the issues to the management company and they did replace the mattress after we asked that they do so. On a positive note, the view was amazing and the unit has a lot of potential. They need a much better cleaning crew as well as management company to keep the unit clean.

Family Beach Vacation

Our family of 8 stayed in this property for a week. It was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well-appointed. We really enjoyed the view from the balcony and from 2 of the bedrooms. The beach access was steps away, as well as the pool. It was easy to social distance with the expanse of beach and huge pool. Restaurants and a candy shop were a short walk away and Walmart was right across the street. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely condo with beautiful beach view. Resort has lovely main pool area with kiddie pool and play ground. Well manicured and maintained grounds.

The Resort was beautiful, would definitely recommend

The only complaint I have is having to pick up and drop off keys at different location. The traffic is chaotic and congested so it made it inconvenient. But the resort was beautiful.

Stunning views, super clean, overall incredible property

The views were breathtaking from the moment we walked in the condo, and to wake up every morning seeing the ocean from our beds never stopped being amazing. Huge balcony also. I was super impressed with the cleanliness of our condo, plus the entire resort, even the parking garage was clean. Highly recommend and hope to come back!!

dissapointment

Getting in the building was an issue several times for my family as well as for others who were staying at the property. Its almost as if the keys or doors were not working properly. We had to walk around the entire building and go in through the backdoor. Now that one, we had NO issue getting in. Other than that, it was a pleasurable experience.
