Great Vacation

The property has a great location close to the beach in walking distance. The home was clean and had all the necessities. The process was simple for check in and out, we will consider staying again in near future.

This property was perfect for our family. We did find out half way through our stay that you can rent golf carts through a certain rental company. Hopefully this will be updated for future guest.

Family beach vacation

We love Destin!

Great house and close to the beach. Love all of the room on the first floor. Was great for our big busy family with 4 high energy boys. House was clean and tidy, but has definitely been well loved and could use a little bit of updating and freshening up. Was nice being close to both the pool and the beach. This was our first stay in Destin and we will be back!

Great location & Home

Beautiful home with lots of room. Comfy beds and very clean. Loved the pool and hot tub right next door. Disappointed we couldn’t rent a golf cart bc the entire neighborhood had them including ones that were rented. TVs are small in all rooms but overall a good stay

Perfect Beach House

The house was nice and open - plenty of room to enjoy time with family. The location is close to the pool and not far from the beach. We enjoyed seating on the front porch and upstairs balconies. Would definitely stay again.

Family vacation

House was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 9 people. It was very close to the ocean and had a very nice pool right next door. It was just a short drive to many restaurants. I had read a review before that mentioned the house didn’t have a lot of outlets so they suggested to bring a power strip and I definitely appreciated the suggestion. My only complaint was the temperature of the house. The air conditioner was never able to get the house cooled down. The upstairs in the bedrooms where also warm. A few fans where provided which was a blessing but also signaled they knew the ac was insufficient for the residence. The house appeared very clean and well stocked if you desired to cook. We did not cook or use any dishes. I would rent this location again!

Ready to go back!!

We had an amazing stay, and would love to stay at this rental next time we go back! Was in such a great location, right next to the beach, pool and tennis/basketball court! Instructions were layed out very plainly and made arrival and departure very easy.

This place needs some attention

Great location, but the pictures are not representative of the property today. It was very buggy inside. Maintenance and cleanliness were not a top priority inside or outside the property. On the positive side, it’s close to the beach and we had great weather so we were not confined to the house.

Great location, but worn down and dirty

Location was perfect, just a short walk down to the beach with the neighbourhood pool right next door. Nice house, nice furniture and colors around the house. Information on how to work everything was easy and accessible. BUT, everything in the house ,except from the bathrooms and beds, was extremely dirty. Our feet were black from dirt underneath after 5 min. of walking around the house. The carpets upstairs were filthy. There was an old press on nail on the floor upstairs along with what looked like pasta sauce. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty both inside and outside. Utensils and plates looked like they were thrown into the cabinets. No matching plates cups and utensils. Pots and pans were old, bulky scraped and poorly cleaned. The inside of the refrigerator had several old food stains. Batteries were missing from several of the remote controls. Worn electrical outlets, most plugs would just fall out. The doors at the main entrance had a code lock, but was in such bad shape it could probably be easily broken into if you just pulled hard enough. The BBQ works but was dirty and beyond time for replacement. The handle to turn the shower on and off in the master bedroom was about to fall off. Every surface of the house looked dirty. If this is how beach blue properties keep up all of their properties I would not stay with them again.

Perfect in every way!

We love, love, love this property! It's in such a beautiful, luxurious part of Destin. The neighborhood was stunning. We loved being next to the pool, hot tub, and tennis court which we used everyday. It was a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. The beach and water were gorgeous! The house was large, updated, comfortable, and well equipped. I can't say enough good things about our stay! It exceeded our expectations. We will definitely rent here again.

Happy campers - would stay again

Excellent location. Pretty property and neighborhood. We were a party of 4 and found the floor plan spacious. Bed in primary bedroom was comfortable. I wouldn't suggest more than 6 guests given that there are only 2 showers. Main floor finishes looked up-to date and pleasing to the eye. Upstairs bathrooms need up-dating. 2.5 rolls of TP not enough for 4 people for 4 days, especially because of the poor quality of the paper. Also, if running the dishwasher before departure is asked of guests, a minimum of 2 DW pods would be nice. We would stay again at this property. I'ts pretty, convenient to the beach, restaurants and nearby grocery stores and shopping. Thank you Beach Blue! two DW soap pods would be nice.

Was OK- would not stay again or recommend

While the house is decent is does not live up to the photos, description or condition of the house described. It needs some serious TLC. The top deck- scary for children, nails and splinters galore. The master bath shower door is broken and some of the cabinetry. The sink doesn't drain in the kitchen. The house comes with NOTHING- be prepared to spend $$$ for basic house hold items like toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, salt and pepper etc. The pool next door is pretty but absolutely freezing. It was conveniently located, truly a 5 min walk to the beach.
