Irecently stayed at Crystal Sands 210B in Destin, FL, and it was one of the most disappointing rentals I’ve ever experienced. The furniture was soiled and dirty, with visible stains that made it uncomfortable to sit or relax anywhere in the unit. The electrical situation felt unsafe – several outlets were loose, and at one point the wires actually slipped out when we tried to plug something in. The bedding wasn’t any better. The sheets were stained and did not look or feel freshly cleaned, which made it hard to feel comfortable sleeping there. The elevator for the building was loud and noisy every time it ran, and the door seemed off track, jerking and clanging in a way that did not inspire confidence. On top of that, the access situation was a headache. You need different keycodes for almost every gate and door, turning simple comings and goings into a constant hassle. There was no flexibility for early check-in, which might have been tolerable if the place had been well maintained, but given the condition of the unit it just added to the frustration. Noise was another major issue. Expect loud sounds from people above, below, and out by the pool area at all hours, making it difficult to relax or sleep. To make matters worse, marijuana smells drifted through the area, which was especially unpleasant when we just wanted fresh air and a quiet evening. Overall, Crystal Sands 210B offered poor accommodations, and I would not recommend this unit to anyone looking for a comfortable
