Amazing view

I contacted the company to make sure the house was spotless because my dad had chemo so we needed everything to be super clean and it totally was! Although not all the lights worked and it was a little confusing because some lights turned off other lights and so on. The front door handle was broken but we kept having to fix it. We came while they were painting the house so our privacy was a little disturbed but they came super early and didnt really bother us too much. We will stay here again because the unit was totally worth it. Right on the beach! We could see people fishing and dolphins almost every morning! It was just what we needed and the unit came well equipped

First, it's important to understand we've been coming to the Destin area for now 16 straight years! Of those 16 years we've stayed at SPC 13 of those years. Why, Location, Security/Safety, easy access to nearby restaurants, shopping, etc. Also, we've stayed at 3 different condos at SPC for multiple reasons. This year we had our daughter and grandson join us, so we decided on a "larger" unit, one that would accommodate our requirements. One, unit #1114 is by far the "best" location on the property for the ocean views, spectacular views from every room. If you are needing a condo that accommodates 6 comfortable, and steps from the ocean then this is it!! As for us, when we travel, we travel with food, and extra supplies because we like to cook breakfast, make sandwiches, have snacks, etc. So, we always hope every condo has adequate pans, cooking sheets, etc. If you're that traveler, make sure to bring a good "pan", and a few extra cooking sheets, and cleaning supplies, this condo is lacking a few good items for cooking, and cleaning. We spent a good hour cleaning when we first arrived, it's Florida so you're going to have bugs. Luckly, we arrived a few days prior than our daughter, so we had time to clean!! There is nothing wrong with this condo, we will book again. We were fortunate that they delivered a new stove during our stay, it needed an upgrade badly. This condo with a few solid upgrades could easily become one of SPC's "premier" Condos. Loved it, had awesome time !!

First Beachfront Experience

Unit was fine and the location was terrific but half of the balcony was unusable as a portion of it was missing and we didn’t know until we arrived. Some of the items didn’t seem to be freshly washed and the unit seemed a bit dated and unclean(hair and things) but the golf was fun and the checkin and checkout was easy.

Wonderful view, and accomodations were good although bathrooms need a good cleaning and some bathroom maintenance for running toilet and patch work in bathroom, grout work needs to be redone in bathrooms and whole house needs a good thorough cleaning. Rugs need to be cleaned or replaced. And the small bedroom needs some air flow, it was a little mildewy smell. Deck had some protruding nails and loose boards, not ideal for little feet. Otherwise we had a wonderful time , easy access to Beach and beautiful view.

Great Location

This is a great location. What renters need to know is there was no shampoo or hair dryer provided. We flew in from across the country for a weekend with our son and had to go buy these items that normally come in a vacation rental.
