"Overall a nice place to stay near to Mt. Baker ski area but it is a bit quirky and smaller than expected. Sleeping 6 here would be a challenge to say the least.Pros:Hot tubAffordable and convenientWood stove is very cozy Cons:No doors to either room or even the bathroom upstairsUpstairs bed is absolutely not a queen Kitchen is under equipped(the only knives are a bread knife and a carving knife)Would probably work best for a family with children but we made it work as 5 dirtbag ski bum adults, you just better be comfortable with close quarters and couch sleeping. "

"House and bathrooms were clean. Spacious family, LR, well-equipped Kitchen. Quiet. Short path and you are walking along the beautiful Nooksack river. Eagle sightings are nearby. "

"Cabin was in pristine condition with all the amenities, relaxing hot tub after a day of skiing Baker, large stocked kitchen for cooking dinners, and a cozy fireplace with wood provided. Had a great time!"

"Flawless host responsiveness and the cabin was appointed with everything we needed, yet still had plenty of room for us to settle in for a long weekend of fun and relaxation. Right in the heart of Maple Falls, too -- so trips to the ski hill are quick and easy, plus you're able to run to the store or gas station quickly for anything you need. It only takes about a minute to drive there.The bunkhouse was definitely a hit with the kids, as well as the hot tub. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dogs and the kids were pretty stoked when they found out there was a Nintendo 64 in the bunkhouse! Overall we found this gem in the woods to be an incredible value. You feel like you're in the rainforest, but you could actually walk to Maple Fuels. BTW If a walk is desired just for the sake of walking (with a dog perhaps), there is a trail just across the highway and a few paces Eastward. It's very flat, but still has tons of interesting sights and smells for the doggos. A great opportunity to get some fresh air without needing to drive anywhere.From the moment we pulled in and saw the sunny moss-covered lawn split by a cobblestone walkway to the emerald green cabin's front door, to the last morning there, watching steam rise from the cedar stumps and trunks in the sunlight, we loved staying here and will definitely be back.Thanks to Torrey, who went above and beyond with answers to any random questions or needs I sent during our stay. "Nice modern apartment in rural location. Perfect for my needs to be close to local fishing areas yet accessible to Bellingham airport and a downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants."

"This was a nice stay for my mom and I close to Mt. Baker. Check-in was easy, host was communicative. The bed setup works, however if you sleep in the single bed it’s a little dangerous getting in and out of the bed using the provided step stool. There is a nice yard for your dog if you bring them along. "
