"We just had the best long weekend at this home. We found everything to be exactly as you would expect for a home away from home. The host was responsive to our questions and the property is amazing! We really enjoyed the hot tub a sauna after a long day on the ice and there was even a surprise playroom in the basement for our toddler. The town is adorable with great food and shopping options. Village tie up bakery was a stand out for sure! We cannot wait to go back. 10/10"

"Had a spectacular week on Long Lake! 8/16/25-8/23/25The house is huge and so comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The house fit us perfectly with 6 adults in the three master bedrooms and 4 kids in the basement cubby beds. Really amazing.The lake is crystal clear. Awesome to have the canoe, 3 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddle boards. There is a sandy beach with a gradual slope. Dock was fun for fishing, relaxing in the sun, and star gazing at night. The water at the end of the dock is around 2.5' deep. The depth at the floating raft is around 4'. Since it is shallow, there are some weeds growing around. That didn't stop us from enjoying the water every day.The location is good. You have to cross a road to get to the lake but very few cars. Rt 117, behind the house, can be busy. AC/ white noise maker can help if you're sensitive to traffic noise at night. 10 min walk to Harrison. 10 min drive to grocery store in Bridgton. The owners are wonderful. Booking and check in was straight forward and easy. We did have an issue with the washing machine that was pleasantly discussed over the phone. We recommend you...Get ice cream at Long Lake Creamery.Hike Pondicherry Park (kids will love the obstacle courses) and Hawk Mountain (great view at the top).Rent a pontoon with tow tube.Visit Portland for shopping and unusual uni lunch experience at ISF Trading (google it).Golf at Bridgton Highlands and mini at Steamboat Landing.Thank you David and Valarie!"

"Not only is the lake view amazing so is the flower garden. Upon arrival we could see hummingbirds and other songbirds flying past the deck. The house was perfect for our family and the use of the kayaks and paddleboards were a major plus with my kids. The owners go above and beyond for anything we needed and were so very kind. The house is located a few mins away from everything you could need. Tears were shed by us when we had to leave this tranquil vacation. "
