The property was convenient, walkable to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. I felt the room itself wasn’t 100% clean. Hair all over the bed, floor felt dusty, and little cobwebs and spiders. Overall, good space for my family of 4. The yard was nice. Would stay again but I need it to be freshly cleaned.

Villa Odette seems to be the functional part of La Closerie Residence in Deauville. Not necessarily so easy to find. Hotel location is good. There is an extensive spa operation. Plus underground parking for a fee. Hotel foyer is glamorous. My room (in less glamorous Villa Odette) was clean, comfortable, but small with no a/c (I had to ask at reception for a fan). But with kettle/coffee making kit etc and it had a lovely view out over nice lawns. Bathroom, however, was small and shower very weak. On my visit, there was some dispute whether breakfast was included in the deal, or not. I was told verbally at reception that it was. When I went to check it, I was told very firmly that it wasn't. So although I didn't particularly want breakfast, I then had to pay for it after all. That was a disappointing end to my stay.

We chose this hotel for the laundry facilities.Only of the washers and driers worked and these were terribly inefficient. The hotel has no AC. Otherwise our room was nice and the hotel staff were satisfactory.

Great stay with friends

Perfectly situated, very cute villa, comfortable room and beds. Spa was a little bit crowded because the heat drew everyone to the pool at the Closerie next door. We could even see the horses training before the race at the hippodrome from our 2nd floor window.

We took the biggest and the most expensive room in this hotel. The room had an amazing big kitchen, yet no normal shelves in the bathroom. Room was big, bed was a tiny queen size. No air conditioner Phone in the room has no connection to the reception/room service/housekeeping etc. For us, the cold welcome, unfriendly attitude - were a first time experience and hopefully the last one.

J’ai malheureusement passé à la Villa Odette mes trois plus mauvaises nuits depuis que je voyage (Plus de 35 ans). Ma chambre, située au 2ᵉ étage directement sous les toits, n’était pas climatisée. Malgré une température extérieure redescendant à 19–20 °C en soirée, il faisait encore environ 28 °C dans la chambre. Même avec le ventilateur d’appoint proposé par l’hôtel, la chaleur était véritablement étouffante. La seule solution était d’ouvrir les fenêtres pour essayer de rafraîchir la chambre… mais cela transformait les nuits en véritable cauchemar : invasion de moustiques, au point d’avoir eu des réactions allergiques. Ils disparaissaient finalement au lever du soleil, ce qui permettait enfin de dormir… à partir de 5 heures du matin ! Je précise que je suis un grand voyageur et que je ne suis pas particulièrement exigeant. Mais dans ces conditions, il m’a été tout simplement impossible de dormir correctement pendant trois nuits. La Villa Odette est peut-être agréable dans d’autres circonstances, mais une chambre sous les toits sans climatisation en période chaude est, à mon sens, absolument à éviter.
