Great location especially for the beach markets next door. Two beautiful pools, beach lagoon and also infinity pool. Lots of dining options, a great relaxed vibe. Wish we had stayed longer, will return
Nice room with fantastic view. Overall very good experience.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Disliked: Staff & service
Staff were ambivalent at best - actually lied to my face saying they’d “run out” of beach towels when I asked for one! Overall, the location is first class and the pools etc amenities are well maintained as long as you stay out of the casino
The hotel is a little tired looking. More seems to have been spent on the casino and resort. The location close to the Mindil Beach Markets is great. The pool area was a bit noisy on the weekend. The room cleaning was a little haphazard.
Lovely modern resort with super friendly helpful staff.
Food at all restaurants was excellent and well priced. Sandbar adults only bar a must Recommended by Ginger the barmaid!
We will definitely be back!
Must go to Lola's bar Cullen bay and Mindil Market.
I liked the resort and hotel, I only wish they had greeted me at the door and assisted with luggage as they knew of our arrival time (with plenty of notice) and there was a bus of people coming to check in at the same time and there was no one to guide us or assist us and no indication of where to go that was suitable for luggage (it was push/pull doors and stairs to the checkin area, but only afterwards inside you could see a automatic doors and ramp to be used and then also discovered the luggage trollies) apart from that all staff and services and the resort itself was lovely and beautiful

Liked pool area.. Disliked staff who were rude and had poor communication skills! I’m a return customer who probably will not re book !
We stayed at the Mindil Resort while in Darwin after flying from the US. We were looking for a nice place to recoup after 24 hrs. Resort is excellent and convenient to the airport, Darwin Waterfront, beaches and botanical garden. Our room had a beach view and was very nice, including a small patio. I would use again.

The property needs a makeover mainly the rooms, the chair in our room was very worn and not inviting to sit on looked dirty. The bathroom definitely needs a makeover. It’s expensive for what you get. The staff were great very helpful and friendly and great restaurants on the property.
Initial room I had booked through an agent was rather average and looked nothing like the images on the website. For a “deluxe king room” we had no view except the tops of trees and a tin roof we could walk on if we wanted!
The good part was I decided to be a kind Karen and mention something to a gorgeous lady at reception who personally walked us to two rooms to pick from and upgrade at a discounted fee. The new room had amazing view of mindil beach and the lagoon pool. Amenities were amazing. Only thing to change would be to add some more crockery and cutlery along with a microwave to warm your own food or baby bottles if travelling with small children.
Highly enjoyed my stay once the room was changed!
The staff were really attentive and lovely. The renovations to the rooms are really tasteful and nice. Comfy beds, good set up etc. and yes the lagoon pool in particular was everything I was dreaming of. It would be nice if the swim up bar in the pool stayed open a little later and we were hoping for a microwave in our room, but there really is nothing you can fault with the stay here. It's beautiful.
The staff service was very good. I was given a room I didn't want and the hotel pointed the finger at Hotels.com for selling rooms which they had been told were not available.
Beautiful room clean nice comfortable bed and spacious room with ocean views and easy access to everything

The room was a mismatch of old what looked liked office furniture. I went to recharge my phone but couldn't find any power points next to bed. I had to pull bed out from the wall and they were behind it where you would need an extension cord to reach the bed side tables. The door stop was for front door was broken and with sharp edges. It was in such a place that everytime you opened the door you would kick your toes which caused a couple of injuries. To get out on the balcony there was a huge uneventful edge where if you you tripped on it you would smash your mouth on the railings. The section next to ours was renovated and it just looked like everything had been slapped together with all the old out of the renovated rooms. The bed was really comfortable but a sheet as a doonar cover was not something I expected at a place like this. We ordered diner at the Vue from the restaurant but I would not recommend it. It steak looked and tastes boiled, the veges were rock hard and the room had no plates, no salt n pepper and no cutlery. It was my 50th birthday and i was hugely disappointed. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The Lagoon and Infinity Pool were gorgeous. Such a shame
