Pleaux

"Apartment is better than the pictures. Located in village center, very convenient. Very functional living room & kitchen - super important when you are in such a little village in winter, as all restaurants were closed by 8pm. You need to cook! Well equipped. Only thing missing, to my view, is a dish washer. It would be so much nicer if we did not have to wash everything by hands. So in general, recommend !FYI: you need to bring your own bed linens and towels. Probably for visiter from far,...

"Un endroit magnifique, apaisé et apaisant…le lac, les balades a proximité Les commerçants de Laroquebrou au top , nous avons passé un séjour parfait ! Jacques et Valérie sont très disponibles et réactifs . Merci"

ibis Egletons

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel is set in a rural area although it’s on a main route through the area. There is a beautiful tranquil lake at the rear of the hotel where you can have a quiet, easy peaceful walk and spot the abundant fish and admire the various tall trees. There are small beaches too. The hotel rooms were really good with new fixtures and fittings. I couldn’t fault the rooms. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Similarly the food and service were great. Despite having a bus full of tourists to feed, the staff seemed to manage the service efficiently. I think this hotel would be an excellent location as a base for exploring this outstanding region. For motorcyclists keen to park their machines in a safe area, the staff offered me the chance to park directly at the hotel entrance which was partially shrouded in decorative tall plants and within view of the night staff. I thank the hotel for making this kind, unrequested offer. It’s clear the hotel is prepared to go just that little bit further. In summary, I shall return to this hotel."

"Lovely cottage, everything we needed was available. A small garden for our use, trees provided shade but plenty of sun there too. Dog friendly.Location was lovely and quiet. 3 minute drive to Argentat, a lovely market town.
