Very centrally located near shops, restaurants, and the river with its activities, this place also has a big yard and outdoor seating. We didn’t walk to the end of the yard to see the dock on the river, though, or sit in the outdoor chairs—we should have! The picture of the walk does not give an adequate idea of this quirky apartment at the back of an old house that faces the main street, but it served our needs well. Lissette was very responsive to our questions, but she couldn’t solve the TV problem either—the signal cutting out several times an evening required equipment replacement, which happened after we left. We worried that the walkway would be a tripping hazard for us in our 70s, but we didn’t trip. And I wished for bigger windows and more light, but the interior lights were good and bright, so we used them. The kitchen worked well and was well supplied, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a good place to stay.
