This hotel was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool wasn't cold and the breakfast was hot. The only reason I gave it four stars is the room description was wrong.We reserved the Executive Suite which was supposed to have an extra sitting area. The extra sitting area is in the Family Suite. The hotel was booked so we ended up squeezing into the Executive Suite rather than find another hotel. The staff was wonderful giving us extra blankets for the cot we had. I'd stay here again, just in a Family Suite. There are lots of restaurants nearby, a gas station and the area feels safe overall.

The location was near where I was having an event but one thing I can say is know where you’re going because the GPS on cell and car will drive you crazy. Oh one last thing. Room 315 might need a new ac unit. It’s making noice like there was a helicopter outside when it came on

The staff is friendly, and knowledgeable of the Garland and Dallas area. We felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel and the local area. It is nicely appointed and conveniently located. Easily walking distance to IHop, Brums, Chili's, Golden Corral, Aldi and Walmart. We definitely recommend this location. Also, very family friendly.
