Great spot near Ft. Novosel

It’s not a luxurious apartment, but it was very clean, inexpensive, and extremely close to the main gate at Ft. Novosel. The owner was very quick in responding to messages, and we had no problems at all with the stay.

The patio door needs repair and not secure. The one bedroom door needs repairing, looks like someone kicked it in. Positive points Great location and right off the base. The manager was very accommodating as well.

Worst rental property I've ever stayed at

I will say the host was very responsive and I appreciate that. However the property is horrible and I cannot recommend this to anyone. To start, you will be overwhelmed by the smell of air freshener and bleach when you enter the apartment. After unplugging them you will find that they are masking a disgusting smell of mold and sour food odor. The floors are haphazardly laid down and not properly finished or cut so there is carpet laying over vinyl and exposed nails where the carpet doesn't reach the wall. The vents are moldy and dirty, the blinds are black from dust and the final straw was after the sun went down the place was infested with roaches. The host did provide a refund after we had to leave and get a hotel for the night. I do not recommend this place at all as it is unsanitary and should not be allowed as a rental.

The condo was nicely decorated and comfortable. The back balcony was a nice feature and we enjoyed listening to the high school band play. We also heard taps and revelry since we were so close to Ft. Rucker. Dothan was a short drive away while Enterprise was just 10 min down the road. It will be a awhile before we are here again but hopefully it would be available!

Nice place!

This property provided all the necessary amenities and had some charming decorative touches to make it feel like home. The location was convenient to many areas. Our family was thankful to have had the opportunity to stay here during our vacation.
