"We just returned from a month-long stay at Ker Yaye Fatou. As a large family of 7 it offered us more than enough space to fully enjoy one another’s company! Both Mr. Mbaye and Armando Mane made sure all of our needs were met. The house was cleaned daily by Seynabou. which we really appreciated. Mane went out of his way to answer any questions as well as secure and maintain the property. It is a beautiful spacious home not far from the beach, Diamniadio, Yène and Popenguine. Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E

Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E

8/10 Good
"Overall, Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E made for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would recommend it, particularly for solo travelers. The neighborhood felt safe and navigable, which as a solo traveler matters more than anything else. The room was a highlight, super spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the city from above. Waking up to that view every morning was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was decent nothing extraordinary, but a perfectly fine way to start the day. It's also worth noting that there are several restaurants within walking distance, which is a convenient bonus. Now for the honest part: the location comes with some challenges. The area is heavily trafficked, and for reasons I still can't fully explain drivers have a genuinely difficult time finding the hotel. Whether you're arriving by taxi or rideshare, budget extra time and be prepared to guide your driver. The roads in the immediate area are also not the most pedestrian or driver friendly, so keep that in mind when planning your daily movements. With a little patience on the logistics, it's a comfortable and safe base for exploring Dakar. I'd recommend."
