"Really enjoyed our stay here. Highlights were the amazing pool, the food in the restaurant (particularly the Indonesian night), the big rooms (although dated), beautiful trees and the rainforest walk through. I recommend 'Port Douglas premium transfers' to and from the airport - awesome driver. SR coaches cancelled on us. Port Douglas is incredible, the beach is so beautiful. Also a great cafe called St. Crispins a short walk from the resort with awesome food and coffee. We would come back and stay here!"

"Excellent location. two minute walk to the beach and on the same street as all the restaurants and shops. Our room was super clean when we arrived and I was pleasantly surprised that there was a wand in the shower. The staff were so very friendly and helpful. My only negative comment would be that there are no electrical outlets by the night stands (at least in our room). We had to run an extension cord from the other side of the room to the night stand so that I could use my cpap machine for sleeping. Otherwise, everything was great."

"A wonderful way to experience the rain forest in a raw and real manner. Wonderful for switching off and returning to nature. Don't expect all the bells and whistles, expect friendly travellers and staff, loud birds and heaps of rain."

"Well equipped flat with really good staff in a good location. Za was super kind and booked all my tours efficiently. The only negative is the price, the resort is quite old and for just a bit more you can get a significantly nicer room elsewhere."
