Location is great, nice and quiet away from the crowds, but close enough with easy access to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, and Mount Rushmore. The Hostess Hospitality is A+! The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We would definitely stay again!
The property was in a nice location just a few minutes from Custer, SD. The host was responsive and very friendly and helpful. However, the home had a bit of a fly problem. I hope the owner can get that under control for future guests.
I came to Custer to hike and was in my room to sleep and shower. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My contacts at the property were friendly but not overbearing. The location was perfect for what I needed. I’ll be back the next time I’m in the Hills
This property was very recently acquired by the new owner. Location is right outside of Custer and within driving range of multiple tourist attractions. They are still in the process of adding some features for guests.. Evenings sitting on that front porch more than compensated for the few amenities she's still acquiring. Owner Deb was on-site or readily available. She graciously made extra sleeping accommodations available so we could spend some extra time with the granddaughter we were visiting there. We have already talked about a return visit someday.
Our stay could not of been better!
From the initial communication with the property manager through check in and check out. The host & owner was a delight to get to know.
The Lodge was clean, offered use of dining area, kitchen & the front porch was awesome! Conveniently located to all the area attractions &I would recommend staying here!
