"We really enjoyed being based at this lovely accommodation to explore the region. It was lovely to come back to the property after a day spent walking and enjoying local French cuisine. It is a peaceful place ideal for relaxing with a cold beer and a nice glass of wine on the patio. "We booked this stay as a single night on our way further south in France. We arrived around 15:30 to a peaceful and scenic location which was ideal having travelled for almost 20 hours.The house is very comfortable with a good kitchen and great rooms for our needs, especially travelling with three young kids. "Bon accueil et bon echange avec la proprietaire. Forte odeur d'humidité dans le salon. Piece impossible à utiliser. Logement atypique avec un certain charme. Salle de bain principale dans chambre sans aucune intimité. Douche posée dans un coin avec vue imprenable sur la route ! Tete de lit à coté du lavabo et au dessus des tuyaux d'évacuation .... Propreté du logement à revoir. Neanmoins le linge de toilettes et les draps sentent bon la lessive."

"Accueil très chaleureux, merci à Cathy et son mari, superbe demeure avec de grandes pièces décorées avec goût, la piscine, la vue, le chant des oiseaux, tout était au RV. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Voie verte à proximité, et très bonne boulangerie à Saint-Martin-de-fressangeas."

"Découverte du Périgord Vert dans un lieu très calme, à l'intérieur d'une maison très agréable, dont la fraîcheur a été très appréciée par cet été caniculaire. Piscine hors sol dont l'eau était un peu fraîche mais compte tenu de la chaleur...Andrew et Mike discrets, disponibles et accueillants.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour entourés des paons et du chat de la maison."

"L'endroit est calme, le logement était parfaitement propre et la propriété est dans son ensemble bien entretenue. Nous avons trouve une belle piscine commune, un grand jardin autour de la piscine, des équipements à disposition (barbecue, jeux pour enfants), un havre de paix pour satisfaire notre souhait de repos. Les enfants avaient une très belle chambre, les parents aussi. L'ensemble est fonctionnel et confortable. Il y a quelques défauts mineurs mais le rapport qualité prix est vraiment très bon. Durant cet été 2026, le confortable salon s'est révélé bien frais malgré le contexte caniculaire "exceptionnel".Le propriétaire de l'ensemble des gîtes est attentif et réactif, nous recommandons.Des commerces à 10mn en voiture, une belle campagne environnante, les étoiles la nuit..."

"We are a family of 8 - 4 "kids" 2 parters and mum and dad. What a great venue for a get together. We ate out on the terrace every day inc breakfast. The cooking facilities were great. The wednesday night was our wedding anniversary so we hired a couple of chefs for the evening. La Broulie is very quiet and I'm sure we heard a wolf howl one night. the stars were very bright in the absence of light pollution. what a great family holiday. This place would easily fit 3 large families putting the kids all in the big attic room."

"This is the best place that I have ever stayed in. It’s truly magnificent. Historic, luxurious, serene and romantic. The staff were impeccable. The food was stunning. The grounds and amenities are second to none. Get a room in the main chateau if you can, they are absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough great things about this property."
