"It was really lovely. One of the nicest places I've stayed. Great location in town and on the river, beautiful room, historic building, quaint downtown shops, complimentary cider donuts and chocolates, great coffee. We had a tiny little kerfuffle at check in ( no front desk, just keyless entry) and the owner graciously gave me the suite instead of the regular room. Treat yourself, you deserve it. "

"Staff is friendly & competent. Very quiet except for the ice machine across from our room. Breakfast could have been a little better - hot meat option or better bakery. Too cold in the breakfast room. Beds were too hard for my liking, but that is a personal preference."

"The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. Three different styles of coffee makers made the mornings easier. Beautiful lake with paddle boat and kayak provided. Very comfortable beds. "

"We enjoyed the stay, very relaxing. We lost power twice when storms rolled through, but only for a few hours. Retrieved my flashlight from truck and was good to go. We later found a flashlight in the living room drawer. The cabin was clean, cozy and accommodating. We didn't take advantage of the kayaks or outdoor firepit this visit but will return again. "
