Start your day with coffee by the river and end it with s’mores around the fire pit. Dive into the screen-enclosed heated pool (kept at a cozy 85° year-round), or launch your kayak or canoe from the private dock. The gazebo overlooking the river is perfect for spotting manatees, otters, or the occasional whitetail deer.

Anglers will love the deep-water access for scalloping and saltwater fishing, while freshwater fishing is just minutes away at nearby Lake Rousseau. Your stay is private and secure, with an electric security gate and paved driveway.

Peaceful and clean

Such a beautiful and serene property. The home was extremely clean and everything was so thoughtfully prepared for hosting. Plenty of kitchen items, bathroom items, towels, bedding, etc. The home was just so cozy and such nice a place to relax everywhere you look, inside or out. Laundry was a breeze - having 2 dryers is a PLUS. Only having 2 bathrooms and being on a septic system with our group of 6-8 people definitely requires some shower/toilet scheduling, but we managed fine. Location is great for heading down to Crystal River or Three Sisters.to swim with the manatees! Overall, a wonderful place with fast-responding host.Would definitely stay again!

Great house

Great house in great location Saw manatee, dolphin, snook, blue crabs. House has everything you will need. Tubing on rainbow river was very relaxing. The heritage shops down the road were nice too. The only down side was the wifi is weak don’t expect to remotely work, its just too for off the beaten path, but you’re here to relax. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Family friendly

We came together as a family with our elderly parents The home was absolutely Immaculate the amenities that the owner had provided was well beyond our expectations. I have to say that this property Is the cleanest and well-maintained that we have used. I cannot say enough commendable things Towards the agency and the owner. Charity was a Pleasure to have dealt with she attended to every need and every question that we had thank you again for allowing us to stay at this property

This house was AMAZING! We can't wait to go back

We wanted to go to Crystal River to swim with the Manatees, but love finding private homes to rent over a hotel. This house was the perfect private oasis! Tucked away next to the river, with a beautiful yard to play in! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! We loved the yard games, the pool and game room were huge hits for our kids. Our dogs LOVED the yard and enjoyed exploring every inch of it. Felt safe because it was all fenced. We didn't explore the back next to the river much, because we did see about a 5-6 foot alligator swim by one evening! And we had little dogs, we didn't want him coming too close! Downtown Crystal River was about 10 minutes from us, with restaurants and manatee/kayak/snorkeling tours. We hope to try and return next year! Thank you for hosting us for an absolutely wonderful stay!!

Perfect for families

We’ve rented this house twice now and it’s perfect for our large family. Everyone has a bed with extra to spare, great for entertaining and games. The couches are awesome as well. Will rent again in the future.

Visit with area family

Rented this property to visit with family who live in the area. The house was exactly as described and was warm and inviting. We utilized the pool as well as the screen house and kayaks. It was a lovely place to stay and was very well appointed with thoughtful touches. Would stay here again.

Great property!!!!!!!!

We had an amazing time we celebrated my husbands 50th and my grandson 6th birthday at the river house I read in previous reviews that owner did decorate a small bit for a celebration of some sort so I kind of thought maybe there’d be a happy birthday banner or something of sorts but there wasn’t so…..I chalk that up to miscommunication on my part….there is definitely enough space we were a group of 9 and private space was not an issue at all…we definitely felt like we were glamping in Flordia with daily visits from a alligator 🐊 small one….also we saw one manatee swim towards the gulf that was awesome Stacey was very responsive with every text!!!! Great week!!!! Thank you again Stacey!!!!

Excellent family-friendly property

I was so impressed with this property! I visited with my family and a friend’s family. Joe and Stacey had everything we possibly could have needed. The kids enjoyed the bunk room, and there were games and toys to entertain all ages. I loved the gazebo, where I could hang out with my toddler and have her contained while still enjoying the beautiful surroundings and spitting wildlife. We saw manatees, gators, and some interesting big fish!

AMAZING HOUSE

Our family (12 total) vacations every summer together. Ages 8-71 This house is amazing. Best beds ever & we have stayed at many VRBO houses. Lots of cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes, anything you could need. Very, very clean!! Seen lots of alligators, manatee, dolphins & mullets in the river. Pool was great also, we all enjoyed it. No complaints at all about this rental. Very close to anything you could possibly want to do in Crystal River. Our family would love to come back & stay again, if it comes back on the market to rent. This house was perfect for our 2 week stay!! Thanks again for having us & sharing your amazing home with us. We will definitely be back to Crystal River again.

Amazing property... just what we needed to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon entering the home we were greeted with beautiful rose's and a happy anniversary sign from Stacy. Unforgettable experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the river house! There was 12 of us there, 4 of them being children. We all had plenty of space and there’s lots for the kids to do. We really liked being able to all cook meals there and have the space to have dinners as a family. We caught fish in the river and also saw 4 manatees! What an amazing time we had! Hidden Treasure

I can't speak highly enough of the owners and the property. The owners answered any questions right away and were always there to help if needed. The property is amazing. It is super clean and plenty of space. The open floor plan was great for hanging out and playing games. The kids' room had plenty of games and lots of beds. At night we never even saw them because they were having so much fun in there. It was right on the water with kayaks and canoes for everyone to enjoy. We saw lots of wildlife and plenty of mullet jumping right in front of the outside screened in porch. The pool was nice and warm, and the kids enjoyed playing in it every day. If you are looking for the perfect place to relax that has plenty to do for adults and kids, then this is the place. We will definitely be returning.
